@@Lordeightbane in some hospitals they make doctors treat patients like parts on a factory assembly line, you need to get in, do your job, and then push them on to the next person. I was at a research hospital for awhile and chatted with the nurses about the doctors and the hospital administration encouraged the doctors to refer to patents by ID numbers instead of name, and set a time limit they were not supposed to exceed with each patient. It basically turned them all into a doctor Harris.

@@hassooonnn6504 Well, keeping in mind that we're talking about a fictional exageration of a personality trait, April's character seems to be stuck in the "moody teenager" personality as an act of rebellion against her parents' behaviour. You can see how that's not a very attractive quality in a person, hence why only someone like Andy (which had the first person that treated him like a friend and not a basket case) would go out with. So yeah, April could be considered annoying or charming depending on how sensitive you are about other people's faults.

Andy's incredible naiveté and Dr Harris' super dry sense of humor and plain lack of interest for other people really work well together. He's at his best when Andy's around! Side note: Rashida Jones is one of the most beautiful women on Earth, that's a given, but she was particularly stunning in the 2 first seasons as Ann Perkins, the beautiful tropical fish.

It doesn't matter what field you're in, the customer is always the worst part of the job.

Andy's incorrect quote "The show must wrong, because everything always goes wrong and you just have to deal with it" is actually more insightful and profound than the actual quote. If you assume everything will go wrong, you'll be more prepared than if you just hope everything will fall into place.

Actually this is incredibly common on TV shows- the fat guy everyone picks on will A) have the largest penis and B) have the prettiest wife. It's like a writers way of saying "sorry for being the butt of all the jokes" - see, it's OK that every single person makes fun of him, audience can still laugh because hey, they are actually doing great! Just off camera! Totally did not make their home life amazing to make up for the rest of their life! The most blatant I can think of off the top of my head would be Will Ferrell's character in The Other Guys, but the trope is in pretty much everywhere once you know to look for it.

I think that was one of the more underrated details of the show. Andy and Ann were terrible together, but she was actually pretty supportive of his band. April didn’t really care until she was “forced” to.

Don’t forget that April was only 21 when she and Andy started going out too. She was still pretty young and probably didn’t have experience being in an adult relationship. Anne was already much more mature than her

How did I not know Dr. Harris is a recurring character. This is the ‘best of’ I did not know I needed.

I just love the fact that Ron can detect what type of wood is present based on taste.

Dr Harris was clearly inspired by his time spent with Dr House 😂 I bet he doesn’t sleep on his arm anymore 😂

In season 1, the mockumentary style makes it as an actual documentary instead of a storytelling device, the cast talks to the camera as if someone’s actually there. Also, Leslie was more annoying and takes everything too seriously in season 1.
