In our opinion, a lack of deciduous vegetation adds a very nice element to any hike - this allows keen eyes to get a much different perspective on the land. A cloudy day added into the mix = PERFECTION! It's very good to know how accessible this entire area is - thank you for mentioning that.

Been really enjoying your channel. I’ve been jumping around watching various videos. At the moment I’m in Marietta, drove down from central NY a few weeks ago. I’ve been doing various hikes in the area. I was glad to see a Blood Mountain video, that’s one I want to do. This hike looks fun as well, I’m a sucker for waterfalls. I’m now adding this one to my travel plans. I’m going to hit up Smoky Mountain National park soon too. So thank you for the videos on that as well. Eventually I’m working my way out west. I’m going after the Grand Canyon at some point in the future. I saw your Longs Peak, I am also in the 47% that reached the summit, so congratulations on that. I met some great people on that hike. That was back in 2018. Just want to say, I love what you are doing and it’s very helpful. Do you carry bear spray and if so what kind would you recommend? "Yurt?!" That's an ugly word. Can't they call those things something else like an ecocabin or something. Yurt sounds so .....so vegan.

Yurts have been around for centuries. They are traditionally what the Mongolians used, so very much not vegan 😆

@@AliceFordAdventures Hey, thanks didn't know that. But still, I was commenting on the word 'yurt' itself. It sounds like "yogurt". It's like living in an empty container of yogurt or something. They don't look very sturdy. They look like a tent wrapped around a wooden frame. They're perfectly round, no corners. They look like UFO's. It's like space aliens made them to trick humans into going into them, like some kind of trap for insects.... ...once the humans enter them, they take off and fly to the moons of Jupiter to drop off it's new load of human protein for the many races of space aliens that David Ike says lives there. They look like a big ginormous wheels of yellow cheese. LOL If I were ever to live in one, it would have to be black or camouflage green, not cheddar cheese yellow. You have some interesting camping and hiking videos. New sub!! Cheers!!
