I'm not gonna lie, Dante casually chatting at Ghost Rider and getting a typical Ghost Rider uber-drama monologue in return is amazing, hilarious, and I totally wanna see Dante and GR just hanging out. Idk something like Dante asking Ghost Rider if he wants a slice of pizza and GR just goes on some long, metaphorical tangent about the relation between the sizzling red sauce and bubbling cheese of the pizza being comparable to the plains of the underworld, and how there are still many sinners to bring penance to, that pizza is just a distraction. And Dante is just nodding like "yeah man I know what you mean."

That Devils Never Cry remix is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

They had the budget of about 1 SFV DLC Season. They had to recycle a lot of MVC3 content, including models. Throwing models meant for a cel-shaded game into a game with an art style as consistent as Mario Odyssey’s level theming doesn’t work.

The bulky action figure look was ok with the people who made this.

You know what's super dumb about Dante being blasé about Jedah in the story mode of this game? Dante has pre-battle dialogue with Jedah in other modes where he's like, "When this is over, you're gonna tell me everything about my dad!" And me, I'm just like, "...Why'd you say that? Why'd you say it like that? Am I supposed to interpret---WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?" Edit: Okay, I just remembered a special victory quote that Dante has for Jedah: "Consider that payback, with interest. Now start talking... You're gonna tell me every little thing you know." Like, ADFLJDFDJSF WHY DID THIS NOT GO ANYWHERE!!!???

Did DMC3 Dante really have enough daddy issues to refer to his father as his "dad" out loud when he was talking to a rival that was about to kill him? I feel like either this is accurate, or its bad writing. I would imagine Dante would say "Sparda" instead, but I haven't really played any DMC game other than 5 so what do I know.

Why the fuck wouldn't the Time Stone be to give the opponent input lag. Dumbest missed opportunity ever.

Honestly... thinking back on it, MvC3 did have a really good roster by the end. I absolutely hate the game and mechanics (hyper fighting and endless vortex is not for me), but seriously... what a massive step down.

My idea of "death" is the gauntlet skeleton in a cloak projecting a death field that you better not be in in case of the bonitis

I have a fond memory of going to a con in montreal, and meeting woolie there. It was really cool to see him in person, and i talked a bit with him while in line to try out a game. That game was Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite. We both walked away feeling gross.

A GAME WITH ALL THE INFINITY STONES AND THE WRITERS HAVE THEM USE THEM AS LASER BEAMS. WHAT THE FUCKING HELL.

Guys I've seen death represented as everything from a cute goth chick to a black guy on ice skis, give it a rest. Edit 1 Fun Fact: Morrigan Aesland is from Scotland, which explains her accent in this game. Edit 2: Woolie: "Be silent." Death: "Don't." Good Timing.

The Morrigan is an Irish goddess that even pre-dates the Celtic settling of Ireland, being from the mythology of the then natives. The Irish Celts also viewed her as a goddess, and brought the tradition with them when they (a group of Irish Celts called the Scoti) travelled to and stayed in Scotland (the country is named for them). The accent that Morrigan's VA is going for is very obviously Irish; not Scottish.

Because the they are modeled to look buff and have distinctive silhouettes from a distance, the moment you get close you can see how weird they actually look. Much alike to SFV's gigantic hands and feet.

The only explanation I can think of for the state of this campaign is that Capcom shifted all resources to MHW and banked on MvC:I surviving on passable game-play and the loyalty of fans. This looks like a PS3 game.
