Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers.
We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don't know their compositions already
You can find our show room in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany

Extraordinary playing. Some of these pieces are incredibly difficult to play ( I know because I had to learn them). What is most extraordinary here is the music itself. Bach was such incredible genius: he was truly the progenitor of harmony as Beethoven called him. His music is more than just beauty and awe; its a transcending experience in it of itself.

@@melwig2813 When Mozart discovered Bach's music, he said "Finally, something I can learn from." Mozart was also known to have called Bach the "Father of music," and was so intrigued by his fugue style, that he wrote his own set of fugues in the style of Bach. He is also known to play Bach's music to warm up sometimes. You can find accounts of many of the greats that followed Bach in which they revered Bach. Literally all of them: Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, to name a few. They were all geniuses in their own regard, but Bach paved the way for them all. He was student under Bach's sons CPE and JC and made very clear in his very own words that they showed him the way. Mozart literally owes his entire career to the Bach family. Mozart knew he was a wunderkind but he would never have dared to even consider the thought of himself to be anywhere close to the genius of father Bach. Mozart wasn't stupid.

It has a warmth and a richness I’ve never heard before, but enough brightness so as not to become dull. Credit to Lieske, too. A guitar can only sound as good as its player allows it to, and Lieske really shows his experience by getting the absolute most out of that beautiful instrument.

Of all these truly fine performances, the Prelude played by Srta. Gonzalez Caballero (one of many of these young talents new to me) stands out - powerful & full of feeling; very mature in technique & expression. In support, her Marin Montero instrument sounds like an entire orchestra has even captured some distant churchbells to amplify her interpretation. Quite a promising collaboration - thanks to all.

If one dares to say it, Raphaël Feuillâtre has given us a performance of the Partita #2 that seems to embody a near-Brazilian (Jobim?) sensibility in early passages, & a more recent "reincarnation" of Django Reinhardt (!) thereafter, without in the slightest diluting the authentic force, or intelligence, of the Master. Faultless technique, 2nd-nature already despite his youth, seems to allow him, and us, an original interpretation carried by intense, but disciplined feeling. The seasoned 1931 instrument also seems, in a sense, culturally wedded to this unusual performance: rich in depth, bell-like in projection, as if it always wanted to be played this way. Damned amazing; thanks to all.
