For anyone finding it difficult to walk due to hamstring strain I would recommend a soft neoprene adjustable knee support like the Neo G which is available on Amazon for less than £20. It is medical grade, washable and has 3 velcro tabs which can be adjusted to fit most legs. With an overuse hamstring injury I was struggling to bend my knee and descend stairs. This was a game changer! So much better than the pull on variety which constrict blood flow and roll down😮 I wore mine yesterday and was able to use stairs, walk without any discomfort and completely forget about my strain ! It is helping keep my knee in a better position and thus allowing my hamstring to heal. Before I was in pain with the load transferring to my hip, lower back and even shoulders. My physio was impressed and I will continue to use it until my hamstring is back to normal. Best £20 ever spent. Reviews suggest they are ideal for arthritis also. If this helps even 1 person I will be delighted 😊

When I wore a leg cast, a walker was so useful to take the strain off my wrists from crutches & I used it for support when exercising my good leg. I found forearm crutches great for weaning off underarm crutches because it encourages less one-sided leaning.
