I have plantar fascitis / flat foot and bunions for years. Then had painful tendinitis for 4 months following heavy walking vacation. Doctor found no issues with x ray. As I approach 6 months with stiffness, are compression socks or ankle sleeves with straps that cross in X needed for working out? (walking on treadmill)

Just subscribed! Quick question. I take my BP every morning and night. The first reading is usually very high, whilst the 2nd and 3rd are lower and very similar to each other. Should I always discard the 1st one? Thanks!

I found compression socks at Dollar tree only $1.25 a pair and they work. Yeah, they don't have any variety (only black) but but they go up all the way to just under the knee.

A "foot doctor" makes his money correcting bunions. So, take what he's claiming with that in mind. Lems shoes are the best. He is not correct. At. ALL.

The omega 3 you get from plant sources is the "inactive" type, named ALA. The body is able to convert it into EPA and DHA, the active types, in a very inefficient ratio (i think only 5 or 10% of ALA). You can get EPA and DHA from fish. Sardines contain one of the largest amounts, and they're not very high in heavy metal compared to other species. If you eat 300-400 g a week you can get the needed amount of omega 3. Fish oil is a more cheap source of omega 3s but it needs to be certified by IFOS, which is a company that tests fish foods for contaminants, since fish oils often contain heavy metals and plastics. For vegans there are oil supplements made from an algae that naturally produces EPA and DHA. Fishes get their omega 3s from this algae. It doesn't contain contaminants because it's grown in pools with filtrated sea water. It's quite expensive though. The richest source of ALA is flaxseed oil, 50% of its fat content is omega 3 ALAs. It needs to be stored away from light and at a temperature of 4 degrees celsius, or it loses its nutrional value because omega 3s degrade easly in sunlight and high temperatures.

Barefoot is barefoot. Low-stack, no-drop, wide-toebox shoes are still shoes.

OK, I'm 68 years old, a practicing martial artist so I am barefoot on the mats a lot. Around the house, I'm usually barefoot, even though being a well controlled diabetic I should wear shoes all the time. In reality I wear shoes outside. I do not have any hip, knee or other issues and am in pretty good shape. Not interested in running, just day to day walking around. These barefoot shoes interest me but the information I am seeing has me on the fence. In your opinion and I a viable candidate for this type shoes. Any suggestions or comment would be appreciated.

I work a physical job and 30mins before my shift, I consume x3 raw eggs (directly from farmer, free range chicken eggs). About an hour in, it gives me mental clarity and a energy boost better than any coffee shots or energy drink or any supplement. Highly suggest you try and check out the performance of your day.

Great video and very helpful. But ppl need to be careful with b six related neuropathy. Many countries are regulating the amount of b six in supps now as they cause and did cause in my far worse neuropaathy than necessary. But thankyou for the nerve compression issues - i think these are the biggest cause for me.

One quick and impactful bit of advice I read was this... "Nutritional labels on processed food packages should be more accurately read as WARNING labels". Having heart issues and type 2, I'm now walking right past many items at the store which had previously gone right into my cart. Went from 238 to 195 lbs in 6 months. Intermittent fasting is also highly effective for weight loss, as mentioned here 21:16 . I haven't been too good at that yet, but try to eat your first and last meal of the day withing 6-8 hours of each other.

Yes I take magnesium threonate one night before bed then the next day I take magnesium glycinate before bed. Usually the recommended dose for each. They work wonders on me. I believe it's the perfect combination because 1 night I get the benefits of threonate then the next night with magnesium glycinate which is a higher dose of elemental magnesium helps the other cells in the body.

I found mivela water to be the best way to absorb magnesium, but it has become hard to source now. Compared to chelate it is much better, so now I have ordered some colloid magnesium. Will colloid magnesium penetrate the blood brain barrier ?

you’re a straight up clickbait clown. You don’t need studies to see how much damage modern shoes have caused. It’s already obvious to everyone not to jump into barefoot lifestyle after 40 years of shoe-based and chair-based disfunction. Work towards barefoot and strengthen towards structural balance. You do a major disservice, but of course you’re selling product.
