I am, by no means, "pro" animal cruelty, but what is far more disturbing is how many people speak up about animal cruelty while taking cruelty to humans (humans are also animals) in stride. I mean, it's just a movie, and you have to show horror of some kind. You wouldn't be bothered if they were "cruel" to a car or a house or a dinette set, right? Why not a pet or whatever? Better if it was a person? 🤷‍♂️

Mainly with cats making people subconsciously think it's ok for cats to be killed or tortured.nin Egypt times people were killed for harming cats and animals. Killers start by killing small animals. Hunting is different because it's for our survival and own eating. But also they shouldn't have human cruelty in movies. People love seeing people especially bad guys get tortured and suffer in horror movies yet hate seeing small animals get a broken arm. So yah where's the stop cruelty in real life and not fiction. They keep letting them and say it's ok in real life even cops let it happen. How are we going to stop real life and then worry about fake?

Ghost Station is a bag of shit. An incredibly pathetic shadow of Japanese horror films like "Missed Call" etc. and a shameless exploitation of a recognizable element from "The Ring". A completely illogical plot and overacting/underacting actors. Waste of time.

"No Way Up" is utterly nonsense but sure suspenseful. 🦈 "A Creature Was Stirring" looks petty cool. 😍

So the first movie is basically Talk to me? right down to the conditional time-limit and of course if you go over, oh no..... I nearly died when that cuckoo clock went off. Hoping to start another crappy franchise. Thanksgiving again??? MISS The Portrait - Typical Hollywood trailer - gives everything away - nice reference to Dorian Gray though - MISS Next one, Christmas set movie allows for lots of colourful lights and lenses so filmmakers can say they were inspired by 'giallo' - MISS Then, inspired by grindhouse exploitation movies of the 70's but with shittier acting - MISS Last one? - MISS My eyes ears and brain hurt. If these are the BEST trailers... then we are in for a dire year of horror movies. I'll watch Handling the Undead probably and maybe Lord of Misrule

So these are all the same and woefully acted. The only one I'd watch is the shark one but then that's been done a million times before - at least use a different shark instead of a Great White for once 🙄 God I miss the time when horror movies were good!
