Marc destroyed that bike development-wise. Didn’t have a clue what he was doing and took them in the wrong direction for 2 straight years. Should have paid Dani whatever he wanted to be their development rider.

MotoGP in Assen is now just a spectacle like an articulated truck which is not as fun as touring since there are tire pressure regulations, the exciting spectacle in MotoGP is dueling and overtaking.

@petesmitt In the standings, he finished 10th because he couldn’t stay within the rules that every other rider on the grid managed to stay within. If he stayed within the rules, he would have had less pace, and finished lower. Cheating is penalised for a reason.

Making them go back to 6 bikes next year is a start, but 4 should really be the maximum for one brand, or they just have too much data for other teams to compete. Every single round yamaha falls 6 full race weekends behind Ducati in development data. Just no way they can compete.

I’m not a fan of MM93, but that’s not true. If Ducati would have signed JM89 for second Factory seat, then EB23 would still went somewhere else… Also, the departure of MB72 is not linked to MM93, since MB72 was not in the race for Factory Ducati anyway. So he wanted a factory seat, couldn’t get it at Ducati (with or without MM93), so he went somewhere else. That’s definitely what can happen when you’re a team that raise new riders, at some point they might want a bigger ($$$) contract with a factory team… Also, I don’t know who would be the third top rider Ducati has lost? We still don’t know yet who’s signing with Gresini and VR46, besides FA54 (which has a Ducati contract).

Not a Marc fan but I wanted to see him fight with Pecco again, he had no chance in this one. Not helped by the fact that Assen is not a particularly strong track of his and Pecco going 30 seconds faster than last year, showcasing that the GP24 is faster overall. Of course a lot of guys went faster than last year too, Marc included, Im just pointing out that there is a difference in the quality of the machinery. If I were you guys I wouldnt expect Marc to dominate Sachesenring, I think Pecco and Martin will certainly challenge him. Marc is no longer the same rider that dominated Germany for 8 years and both Pecco and Jorge were very fast last year in Sachsenring. Wouldnt be surprised at all if Marc didnt win there

I hope Martin wins the next 5 titles on an Aprillia. Ducati are a company without a shred of morality or honour. It’s understandable why Dovi said he wouldn’t stay there for any amount of money.

Jorge Martin's chance for this year's championship title is definitely ebbing away. The ruckus over the available space for the factory team that ended up with Marquez taking it and himself leaving for Aprilia not only won't help but would likely diminish his chance even further. Can anyone believe Ducati would be willing to throw valuable resources at the team who is not even sure of staying with them under the new contract after this year and the team's best and most competitive rider switching to riding for their closest competitor Aprilia next season? My prediction is Bagnaia will win the title again this year. Not because he is the best rider but he and HIS BIKE happen to be the best combination. It is clear by now there is no chance of any of the Ducati GP23 specs bikes being able to challenge the GP24s no matter how heavenly Marc Marquez, arguably the best rider on the track, will ride his outdated machine for the rest of the current season. He would likely get the trophy he has long coveted, though, next year with the best bike, and with the best team capable to fully assist him to win the title after a few lost years with Honda and a more or less trial year with how Ducati bikes perform. Yes, Pramac may have the latest specs GP24 too on paper but latest specs isn't equal to the best combined team resources to win and every rider with everything to lose and gain in his MotoGP career knows that. Martin, Marquez, Bastianini, Bezzecchi etc. have all obviously realized how important that is and made their ride adjustments to fit the available opportunities they have had.

@panmaew That’s what happens when you allow one brand to field 8 bikes and make up their own rules surrounding aero that other companies have to react to. Ducati are in a no-lose situation, each round they pull further ahead of the other brands because they have more data. It is bad for the sport.

There needs to be better format for these race highlights. Take a page from the other sports channels like NFL, NBA, etc. and emulate those highlights.

Pecco was 30 seconds slower than the 2024 Ducati. Meanwhile Marquez is just 7 seconds slower. This clearly shows us that Marquez is still the best out there. Him on the 2025 Ducati will give him the championship again. Hopefully.

He should also have had a grid penalty for trying to overtake espagoro in practice while Aleix was trying to set a lap to go into Q1, crashing, ruining Aleix lap and almost taking him down, but it wasn’t even mentioned.

Moto 2 And Moto 3 giving close races than Moto Gp.In 2017-2018 we saw Boring races where Marc dominated.But Here Martin Atleast giving Bagnaia fight in all races which dovi could not gave to Marc at all

It was a 'guess' as the Commentator clearly stated. SENSORS data shown on the bikes dash MAY have indicated MMs tyres were Too cold, so by tucking in behind DiGi he could get his front tyre hotter, which would increase the tyre-pressure.....
