After I broke up with my ex and was heartbroken and lost and the relationship took such an emotional and mental toll on me that I developed insomnia for 8 months. I realized that the person I used to be was gone and I could never go back... I was truly broken. Then I started listening to these videos and realized that it was a defining point in my life. I had wiped a clean slate and had the opportunity to recreate myself. I wanted to be someone who was focused on their goals, grateful, caring, successful, disciplined, confident. All these traits that I didn't have. Then slowly and consistently I started to become that by listening to these motivational videos and reading and rewriting my goals. Now I've started my own business and creating life on my terms. So thank you for these.

I got my heart broken too!! I got into the weights harder and took some dance lessions!! Him leaving was the best thing in my life!! I then began to seek out my dreams. I became a figure competitor. I have competed 5 times and qualified for nations four times. I started at the age of 44. My motto since I was 16 was “BEAT THE ODDS”. Id hate to admit that im 22 and Im 2/3rds of the way getting my High School diploma at my local adult school because of bad choices I made. I feel so far away from my goals (going to a CC and transferring to a CSU), as if I'll never get there. My dream is to have a career in the science field, specifically astronomy. I feel so old being 22 almost 23 and not even in college yet. I dont even have anyone to talk to about this either so just writing this here if anyone reads it. I've never had anyone motivate me and believe in me but this video helps a bit each day i listen to it

For anyone who thinks they are too old to start changing-- I am 36 years old and due to a back injury in Iraq I am now a civilian going to school for IT. I shied away from computers my whole life thinking I would use my wits and brawn to make money. Life had different ideas. It's hard, it's tough but if I can do it so can any of you! I don't know who you are or where you come from but I believe in you. Don't ever give up on your dreams and remember; sometimes the best dream is the dream that never happened, allowing something even more beautiful to bloom.

Keep going man, always looking forward, doesnt matter how hard it is, my father was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2015 when i was only 11, i saw my mother get beaten in front of me, saw my brother fithing with a broken leg in front of me and i couldnt move a muscle, and i had my fathers head in my hands while he was losing alot of blood due to one of his falls of the stairs, but i keep looking forward, its still hard to me because i know that my father has max 1 year of life and has many disabilities, but it doesnt matter, i will achieve everything that i want to make my family proud, whathever it takes, so never give up, good luck with your journey, i hope you succeed. Srr for my english.
