His voice always make me cry miss him so much we lost a great man when he passed and a fantastic voice

I don't do 'man crushes' but he was a beautiful man and apparently had a beautiful heart to match. My heart just breaks at his loss and his sister too, just hope and pray his father and remaining sister can find some peace. I'm the same age as Yog and literally grew up listening to his music, my biggest regret (and I have a few!) was never getting to see him live. Makes me really sad.

I, too, wish they could find some sort of comfort but it's just not happening. He died an atheist and that's not good at all. His family are terribly grieved. 😭😭

I'm a huge George fan and also a huge fan of Elvis. I grew up with Georges music and i loved him, love him still! I won't miss this great time in the '80s! Maybe the best part of my life. My first reaction when i heard the news on Christmas Day was No! No!No!.....like many others. I had a feeling like loosing my brother, i had the feeling that i devinitley lost my youth! When i think about him now, i realize that there are many parallels with Elvis live. Both had a God given talent, both were very private persons, and very sensible, both lost their beloved mother and never really get over it. And both were addicted to drugs in the last part of their lifes. They lost their gorgeous looks at the end and their lust for life i guess.💔 RIP GEORGE RIP ELVIS Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language!

Or because he helped building a hospital especially for black children who could not afford medical treatment? Or because he was good friends with Mohammed Ali, James Brown, Jackie Wilson and, and and....? Or because he was one of the first white entertainer who had black background singers on stage. I'm a fan of both of these two entertainers/singers. And it's an honor for GM to be mentioned in the same sentence as Elvis. He said it himself in case you don't know it!
