I have oily skin for as long as I can remember. And I have gone through sooooooo many moisturizers. But after all that research I have finally concluded that these 2 moisturizers are the best for my oily skin. At night I use the Sukin Oil Balancing Mattifying Facial Moisturizer. ( Sukin is a Australian Made product. It is Natuaral and Cruelty Free. ) And during the day I use the Olay Regenesis Whip Moisturizer. What I like about these moisturizers is that it does not give me a oliy film or sticky residue after. It really absorbs into my skin. 🤗🤗🤗

For people with sensitive acne prone skin, I would just tell you to be careful of the Pond's Hyaluronic Gel. I used that and really liked how light weight and nice it was but it broke me out immediately. I couldn't use it again after one use. It might not be suitable for you if you have acne prone skin. Of course, it differs from skin to skin so maybe, even if you are acne prone, maybe it won't break you out. However, before you buy it, I would recommend watching some acne prone skin reviews and reading more about the ingredients and what can potentially break you out. Otherwise, if possible, try to do a patch test first and then purchase it.

Oily skin person who shifted to using moisturiser regularly here. I find that a moisturiser helps me because I have seborrheic dermatitis and my natural skin oils are food to the overgrowth of fungus that contributes to the condition and an external moisturiser just helps block natural oil production that hurts my skin. THAT BEING SAID, one has to be extremely careful while getting products because there are some chemicals also that can worsen fungal acne and seborrheic dermatitis and there is a slight trial and error required. Right now, the neutrogena oil free moisturiser works fine to me but if i want something longer lasting, i have been using the Nivea soft moisturiser. Pond's clog my pores a bit.

Woah! Loved to see the way you categorised different moisturizers. This was much needed because you know people say moisturize your skin but they dont really focus on the skin types and their duty time but here you are slaying all! Glad to see that you talk about ingredients. We need an Indian Hyram gurlll be one! That free gyaan tho! One thing i noticed Jovi that you mentioned for YBP salve that these teens dont have to use these heavy duty moisturizers. I too believed that our age makes a limitation to skin care but its not true actually. I watched one of Cassandra Bankson's videos where she explained all age groups can invest in ALLA KIND of skincare. We are gonna age one day so why not start preventing it from today rather than curing it with loadss of product tomorrow. Hope it helps.

I just want something that moisturises, and if I want say, spf or retinol etc, I'll buy it separately. So my favourite moisturiser is Cerave moisturising cream. Soaks in instantly. If you are breaking out in your jaw or chin, just make sure you are cleaning your phone surface. All that bacteria transfers to your face when you take a call. It's a very common reason, but it can be something else too. Just a suggestion 😊😉

There are many Indian brands that use quality ingredients. YBP for example sources its ingredients from different parts of the world so as to derive the best out of such ingredients. They're costly bcz the ingredients are of top notch quality. Also mnay products last for quite some time so the average per month cost doesn't come out to be a lot.

@@prachisingh2616 You're correct we have great ingredients here in India but there are many ingredients that require a certain kind of soil, temperature, climate etc to thrive. That's why many companies import such ingredients. I've always been more interested in international brands but in recent times specially post lockdown I've starting using Indian products and it feels so great to see certain companies that have bomb products 😊

Hey Jovita.. Thank you for everything you share. Its super helpful. Please could you do a video on a skin care routine and a makeup tutorial for beginners using affordable products.. there are so many products out there and it gets very coufusing as to what to buy. And since we're on a budget not sure if a product is good or not in that price range.

Skin care experts + dermatologists state anything less than spf 30 is not the way to go so stay between 30-50 spf as the others aren’t much different. As the spf increases, it’s more for marketing measures :) just wanted to point that out.

Appreciate your hard work and honesty but would be helpful if you mention that some of the products are not cruelty free. I am sure there are many people like me who trust your suggestions blindly because you don't use products that test on animals unless received as PR. I am cool with you using whatever you want but just mention whether it's cruelty free or not as most people assume all your product suggestions are cruelty free. Also love your natural hair look ☺️
