Dji Air 3 and dji mini 4 pro drone photo, video comparison

Again, It's almost always about Finance ! Within the Sub 250g category The dji mini 2, £270. The dji mini 3, £440. The dji mini 4, £979. Do I Want the Mini 4 ? Yes ! Can I afford it ? No ! Do I own the Mini 2 because that is what I can afford ?(And love it) Yes.

Just to get coordinated, You should buy a Mini 3 b/c it is the cheapest RID compliant DJI available. I'm on drone #2 & I regret not getting flyaway coverage but luckily for me the Mini 3 was/is currently being sold as a single-item. I'm under 250 Mini flights total in skill level. For learning I took the total price & divided it by the expected battery cycles. To fly a Mini 3 fly-more-kit it costs ~$1.35 per flight. Using 6 total batteries to meet 600 flights on a Mini 2 SE it would cost ~$1.29 per flight. A Mini 4 Pro costs ~$2.20 per flight for the first 600 flights using a fly-more-kit. I chose the Mini 3 so that I could upgrade to a 107-pilot-with-RID though I do wish it could descend as fast as the 4 pro can.

Maybe this is just individual but I would miss the time-/hyperlapse option on the Mini 3. In terms of budget why not a used Mini 3 Pro. Just beware of scammers.

Mini 3 pro would be my favorite. But for some kind of reason it's nowhere sold anymore. Just only the regular mini 2, mini 3 or mini 4 pro.

Both of them are really good drones, but I would go with the Mini 4 Pro. Great video, and thanks for sharing.

Great video, I'm trying to pick between these two at the moment since we mainly use drones for video. We just crashed our mini yesterday, oops! The mini 3 sounds like a great choice and a massive upgrade from the mavic mini. Thank you for making such fantastic videos!

Money isn't an issue. But I don't want to waste money if that makes sense. Would the mini 3 be good enough for simple stuff vs the mini 4? Or go with the mini 4 and don't look back? 😅

Not the Mini 4 Pro because of OccuSync 4. The Mini 3 series works with interchangeable RCs.

As a Newbie, the Mini 4 is a better purchase. Hitting a tree is a definate yup

Mini3. You'll save money and be able to record vertical video. Mini2 SE does not record vertical video.

Good video..yet as for a beginner with no experience why not offer the mini 2? Tracking and waypoint has been available via 3rd party apps that dji is just getting to with the M3 and 4. Dji acts like their new wayppoint and tracking is something new. I post via youtube and other media servers daily with NO complaints from my viewers. Obstacle avoidance is nice yet the whole reason I fly is to achieve that higher view look. Have a great day!

Like I mentioned the Mini 2 is a a great option. But there's a significant upgrade in camera on the Mini 3 and up, as well as the gimbal.

You said the mini 3 pro doesn't have any obstacle avoidance, but that is wrong. Mini 3 has forward and back obstacle avoidance, it doesn't have side to side or strafing. Mini 4 apparently has front back and side. Also wrong on the follow me mode, as dji3 does have follow me... I don't know man, is this a fair review or are you trying to push people to the dji4? That's two big blunders back to back with easily googled verification.

I think you are confusing the mini 3 with the mini 3 pro. He is comparing mini 4 pro with the mini 3 (not pro)

mini 3 pro is not the same price as 4 pro should’ve stuck comparing those two

My dad baught me a dji mini. 3 i didn’t know how to control it and I crash it hit my tree in my backyard😢😂

Well now the price dropped on the Mini 3 Pro, so leaving it out of the review entirely is making people go find another video. Just saying.

I’m confused. You’re talking about the mini 3 without the features of the new 4 pro. But the 4 has the RC without built in viewer. ? Rip off. Go to the mini 3 pro. I have it and wouldn’t buy the 4 nothing really gained.
