A larger intercooler is a MUST for the Mini Cooper F56 platform even if you're not planning on tuning your Mini Cooper and upping the boost pressure. The Cooper F56 platform is known to suffer from "heat soak" issues, and it's probably one of the first mods that a tuner will tell you that you should buy. 🔥
One of my favorite features about the MMR Performance intercooler upgrade is that MMR thought through the design of the intercooler to make it the most efficient it can possibly be, and they added an air-duct style system to direct air into the intercooler for even better cooling performance. 🥶
MMR Performance did an excellent job on producing the best intercooler for the Mini Cooper, in my opinion. Kudos! 🤘🏼

Go catless downpipe it isnt to loud but it makes the pops less tingy in my opinion (18’ jcw 2 door)
And if you wanna tune then go with bootmod3 its sick you can flash all the tunes from the fone and even go stock instantly :) oh and you get live monitoring on everything in the car ontop of you get logging and such😊
Where did you buy the black front bumper part? Mine is discoloured and turned slightly blue-ish..
So do you really have to change your bumper to something different? Does this FMIC works for F56 cooper s without replacing the bumper?! Also in partial throttles did you lose some of powre a bit? Or is it still nimble?

I think you need to code out the acoustic pumped in sound. It takes away from the natural engine and exhaust sound in the cabin.

@@koriyuhboi436 I 100% agree with you. It’s the first thing I coded out was the pumped in sounds. My old Focus ST had a similar feature which I removed. Thanks for calling out. 👊🏼
How did you get the two bolts on the bottom … 1 on either side of the inter cooler… offf? There is zero room for any ratchet and 30torx i own hahah

I followed Michael’s chanel and i have completed this mod specifically so far and I have DEFINATELY felt a power gain along with response, my car wheel spins when I put my foot down now, I do drive a manual by the way. Where should I go after this without going stage 2 ?

In this video it was a stock exhaust but my new exhaust video is coming out this Saturday. 😅🤘🏼

Hey Greg, yes, I have an auto. I've only put it in manual and sport mode a handful of times. It's pretty fun. I'm looking forward to getting it tuned. 😬🤘🏼
No figures for the frontal area of both ?! Also the true figure to compare would be the air temp at the inlet… „how it feels“ isn’t really a valuable metric….
