I use some of these all the time, but had no idea there was extra granularity for brightness control, good to know

When you're cycling through applications with command+tab, you can cycle in the other direction with the tilde key (the one left of the 1 key in the number row, ` ~)

Other than Mac’s built in file renamer, the screenshot functionality is one of the things I miss the most having gone from Mac to PC. I know Windows obviously has screenshots, but Macs is just so clean. I feel like doing things in Windows often takes twice as many clicks as it does on Mac.

I am Linux/Windows user.. but recently move to mac, is there a shortcut key like window log + 1, 2 ,3, etc.. to launch a specific apps without going to cycle?

command + shift + 4 if you SS it will just lay on your desktop and you can keep it, drag it into any app etc. IF you hold down CONTROL before you let go (of mouse button) it will simply copy to clipboard and Not save to hard drive. (no preview in this mode)

Indeed, the Command-Tab will only switch between OPEN windows. If you need to go to something minimized, just select that icon by tab, keep the Command button held down, press and hold Option (Alt) and then release Command. There you go, your minimized window is back.

You can use Macros or keybindings with windows. Your windows laptop will have a similar life expectancy with a cheaper repair or maintenance plan. Build a tower, it will out perform anything from apple for $3k and it will stay that way for ~5 years. Built towers will survive for 7-10 years. I did it twice and there is a reason apple won't offer it (they want more of your sweet money 🤑). Windows pc I built 2 years ago would cost about $3k to build today and would require $7800 to replace with a current similar apple system. Learn to use a new keyboard and stop being a sheep.
