Yep, steelman is: 1) Switzerland is landlocked and mountainous 2) Best case = fly in from Tokyo => 2 hour drive from ZRH into Andermatt => bring up to mountain 3) Beautiful views and location

@@SebbyFung That's crazy, I guess the price is kind of justified considering the logistics of everything.
⛷️ I couldnt ski without endangering myself and anyone else on the mountain that day, but anywhere in Switzerland is worth going! Looks like a great trip, thanks for the report!!! 🇨🇭

In my experience when checking prices I see the regency and place priced the same. I’ve stayed at the regency 3x and I love that property. Too bad you didn’t give it a go!

Next time! We probably booked too last minute for same pricing (2 weeks out). It was 10k points difference when I checked.

If you book with points you will see a difference because the hyatt regency is a cat up from the hyatt place but glad you enjoyed Switzerland! -fellow Swiss subscriber!

ZRH. It's under Epic Pass and you get 5 days for free. Otherwise it's CHF 60 per day = ~$66 USD (CHF 30 for kids).
