Hi Joe, yes... unfortunately every community (except 1) in LWR has CDD fees that are included in the tax bill. The one community that has no CDD is Avalon Woods by Ryan Homes. This community is in this video as their HOA dues are low, just no amenities. Hope this helps!

I appreciate the information. I am glad I found you on KZread. I have put your info in my contacts. The CDD are a new concept for me. I'm in Texas where the property taxes are high, but we have no CDD. We are considering moving to your area. Our daughter is still in college. Since she is planning on getting a masters, it will be 4-5 years till we make a permanent move. Let's say I was considering buying, but renting the home, in the near future. I know there has been a trend here in Dallas where short term rentals are becoming more and more restricted. If this is the case in your area, as well, it would be cool to see a video on areas where short term rentals are allowed. I know there must be folks like me that want to get their foot in the door in FL, but can't fully commit, for one reason or another. @@floridamoving
