BEST Lightsaber Experience at SAVI'S WORKSHOP in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge
Ойын-сауық
#disneyland #starwarsgalaxysedge #savisworkshop
Back in August, I was at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland, California, and I built myself a custom lightsaber at Savi's workshop.
This wasn’t my first time, but this time, I experienced it with a different "speaker" (a.k.a. a different cast member). Speakers have a 12 to 15 minute speech to give, but they are given some wiggle room in terms of what to say. And different cast members say different things in their monologues. I thought the speaker that I got here was EXCELLENT. You could tell that this guy really loves Star Wars, and really cares about giving visitors the best experience they could hope for. I got all the feels, I FELT like I was Luke Skywalker or Ezra Bridger.
And actually, I liked it so much that I asked him if I could hop back in line and go through this experience again, but instead of building a lightsaber, I will be filming his performance. So that’s what I did, and that’s what this video is about. So turn that volume up and enjoy the show!

There’s an older gentleman, white hair and glasses, at Disney World who did the performance when I built one with my brother on Oct 11th. I had watched several of these, but his performance was outstanding. It felt like a wise older mentor helping new Jedi build their lightsabers

This sent shivers down my spine. It really feels amazing when the actors go beyond what is required. I wish that I could go.... Hopefully I will soon....
I went with my dad last month and he built his own lightsaber. We had the same cast member giving the speech. He was awesome! I had chills the whole time. I also loved all the Crimson Dawn crates in the room. The detail they put into it is amazing 😍
When they said to get a colour in your mind I straight up could see BLUEE!!!
The moment of activation always gets me in the feels!
I had this guy when I went for my b-day in September. I cried too, man.
I'm glad you had a great experience, and appreciate you taking the time to upload it. Having recently gone to Galaxy's Edge in WDW ( Oct 12-17 ) I must say, our builder absolutely KILLED this guy. I'm not attempting to take away from your experience, or cheaply "one-up" you; she was unlike *any* CM experience we have ever had in the Parks. She had to be a trained actor. Had to, worthy of speaking lines on screen. What's more, it was the very last reservation of the day. 9:30PM. So to anyone on the fence about taking the financial plunge regarding Galaxy's Edge and building a lightsaber at Savi's... take the video above as proof that it really is worth it. The content creator didn't simply "luck out"- my wife and I also had one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had in Disney World.

John Swanger Florida’s speaking gatherers are actors and have to audition for the roll. You will never see them running a register, different pay scales, different unions. I had been watching dozens of these these videos for months, waiting for East Coast Batuu to open. When I FINALLY got my chance, my presenter gave an Oscar worthy performance. Casual tear wiping time as well.
Eddie. What a legend. I hope I see him when I finally make it out there.
This guy is deff better then most videos I see. When I was in Disney world my speaker was absolutely amazing , like I legit felt like I was in a movie
I have respect for this guy, He made it like it was *real* I felt that he loves star wars and loved his job
I got an older lady who was just so into it. She gave off the vibe of like someone who grew up hearing the legends and is just ecstatic to be working with them. And the way she instructed was similar to this one she kinda sounded like a king general leading us in something extraordinary. Gotta love the great cast members
THANK YOU FOR UPLOADING! I was sitting in my bed board, not having anything good to do. Then you uploaded thank you
He is awesome... I can only hope the one here in Florida is as good. Ain't gonna lie.. I'm probably gonna tear up...
The voice of Yoda gets me in the feels every time!
Man I miss building my lightsaber. I miss all of Galaxy’s Edge. I have a glass display case with all the stuff I got there and a drawer under my bed with my smuggler outfit I wore there, just waiting to return. One day. Til the spire. ⛰
That guy is amazing. GIVE HIM A RAISE
You're Right. Eddie Was Awesome.
The FEELS hit when yoda started talking 😃😟🥺😢😭😭😭😭😭 "I'M NOT CRYING. YOU'RE CRYING!" Lol
When I built mine I’m pretty sure I had Eddy. He really made it unforgettable and amazing
Ayyy another video!
i got goosebumps from this guy talking
I’ve watched 5 or 6 of theses lightsaber build videos. I still get chills every time Yoda speaks. I have to agree with you that is the best present or I’ve seen so far.
Agreed Eddy did an awesome job. It definitely feels like there was more to his presentation. I don’t they definitely need people who know there lore and knowledge of places and people. Does it make me an asshole for wanting to build mine with a white or yellow crystal even though if you ask they say wait and do it later?
Props to this guy, this is the best performance I’ve seen!
That was the guy we had! He did a great job for us back in October as well.

I can’t wait to have my wife try this. Maybe I’ll get one too :P I hope we get a cast member that has their creative juices flowing that day.
That is the same guy who was doing the show when i went to build my lightsaber yesterday. He made the experience even better.
He sounds so natural. Other speakers I’ve seen have sounded like they’re in a play or you can tell it’s a performance.
Yea. I teared up. I absolutely cannot wait to take my daughter here. She needs a few more years before she's old enough to really understand and appreciate it though
I got the good chills almost crying through out the video when most of the time watching through KZread the speakers aren’t that good to make me cry. I love this dude!
as an aspiring actor and star wars lover, i now dream of doing this job in my lifetime
This might be cool to try for anyone with a 3d printer, print a custom emitter that grips the blade (screwed on after blade is attached), providing better support. It might improve wiggle on the blade.

When I go to galaxys edge I really want to get this guy He seems so happy doing his job and he is very enthusiastic about it Also this group of people had like 0 energy and motivation
I'm heading to Galaxy's Edge in January when Rise of the Resistance opens, and I'm so stoked. Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be doing Savi's Workshop or not since I already have a ligthsaber that I really like from Saber Trio, and I'd rather not spend $200 for another one. Is there a way to participate in the experience without actually purchasing (or taking, I wasn't intending to steal it) the lightsaber?
WHEN HE MENTIONED AHSOKA TANO I LOST IT 😭💕
That really makes me want to go now.
would so love to do this one day! definitely most wanted as my first overseas trip!

So cool I wish I could go there and Mack one of those lightsabers but I live in Michigan so I'm going to have to buy one on eBay I will probably have to pay a little bit more then I would like but I think it is worth it great video May the force be with you

Lol. But yeah who knows if you read this. But thanks for the content!
@StarWarsIRL
4 жыл бұрын
Wow this is great!! Haha. We’ve got ourselves a “shiny”, boys! You’re right, that would make a good video! Thanks for the idea!💡 At this point, because there is so much story to be told in Star Wars, I might suggest watching it in order of the events that take place in the story. Here’s the direct answer to your question: [Movie] Episode 1: The Phantom Menace [Movie] Episode 2: Attack of the Clones [TV Show] Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Seasons 1-6) [Movie] Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith [Movie] Solo: A Star Wars Story [TV Show] Star Wars Rebels (Seasons 1-4) [Movie] Rogue One: A Star Wars Story [Movie] Episode 4: A New Hope [Movie] Episode 5: Empire Strikes Back [Movie] Episode 6: Return of the Jedi [Movie] Episode 7: The Force Awakens [Movie] Episode 8: The Last Jedi [TV Show] Star Wars Resistance (Seasons 1-2) (Season 2 is the final season and is currently still being aired) [Movie] Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker ------- Watching Star Wars in THAT order will be less confusing than the order that the rest of the world watched it in. That being said... there’s a special kind of magic that comes from piecing together scattered bits of story in a non-linear way. Watching Episodes 4-6, then 1-3, then the clone wars, then Episode 7, then Rogue One, then Star Wars Rebels, then Episode 8, then Solo, then 9... it sounds absolutely ridiculous to learn about a story in that way, but... it works. I can’t explain why. But for example... arguably one of the most significant “reveals” in the entire history of cinema takes place in Episode 5: Empire Strikes back. It’s the kind of thing that gives you chills, makes you cry, and keeps you up at night. But you will never experience it in that way if you’ve already seen Episodes 1-3. So you NEED to start with Ep. 4 in order to feel the magic that the rest of us feel for this franchise. That’s how the rest of Star Wars works. It’s like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle without knowing what the final result is going to look like. And Episode 9, “The Rise of Skywalker” coming out next month is the end of a puzzle that the world has been working on for over 40 years!!
