Living in Arizona is quite a unique experience because of the vastness that the state offers. From the Sonoran Desert in the south to the high country in the north all the way up towards the Four Corners east and the Grand Canyon in the west. Known as the Grand Canyon state, Arizona is diverse in many ways. The state tree is the Palo Verde, the state cactus is the Saguaro, the state bird is the Cactus wren. If you are thinking about moving to Arizona feel free to subscribe and check us out on our other channels.

Man, I miss AZ and the lakes... Thanks for sharing all this good info.
Excellent. We should have moved to az than nm, for a lot of reasons - lakes being one.
I"m glad you didn't mention Potato lake on the rim. Wouldn't want it to get over populated.
The best video I have seen about travel destinations, no bs fast overview, thanks.
The video I’ve been waiting for! Thanks
My favorite lake in AZ is Big Lake, not on the reservation. Great fishing, great camping and the Elk are plentiful. I love Woods Canyon but it it very busy. TFS 👍
I'm newer to the KZread world, real estate not so much. This video was a win-win for me, thank you for posting.
Thank you for this video of our lakes! Happy Spring! Now that it is hot here in the valley I looking for our next stop😊
Can you do a video on marinas of Arizona and the availability of full time (year-round) live-aboard boat life? Compare and contrast the culture as well? Ie., snowbird/retirees, spring break visitors’ impact, amenities and resources in neighboring cities, etc.?
Nice video!! Thank you for sharing.
Great video. I live in Sedona and camping, fishing and boating is my thing. I'm a regular at most of these lakes but you mentioned a couple I need to go check out. You should also include Alamo and Apache Lakes.
I like the way you put together your videos
excellent video. great music
@noni time for AZ lake house !!! Let's go...home.
Thank you for correctly pronouncing Mogollon! Some years ago, Bartlett lake was so great for waterskiing! Dirt road back then, totally undeveloped, so not many ventured there. One time near a cliff, I saw a gorgeous gila lizard, and realized I skiied through a den? of snakes...not sure to this day what they were! We had a relative in fm NY and took him there on a turbulent day! The storm came up suddenly and swamped our old Spico flat bottom pdq! It was a bit tense, and a hemi does you no good at that point!!! I lost a sandal sinking in mud Pleasant. Had great fishing in Hawley. Many brooks! Nice campsite there, with the pups. My girl pulled raspberries while we also plucked them! Loved the White mtns & do miss the high country of AZ, but not much else.
In Prescott we also have Lynks Lake, beautiful lake. and Willow Lake and Fann Lake. Next to Goldwater Lake the City will soon open the lower lake next to Goldwater lake. That will make six lakes in or next to Prescott......Good videos, Thanks!

@@pearlbubbles6885 As far as I know, and I live here,no swimming and no motor boats in all the lakes. We get our drinking water from Willow Lake that is pumped from Watson Lake. The new lake next to Goldwater will have swimming when the City opens it up, unless that changes too.

I thought Lake Powell might be on here, but maybe because that's within two states and super far north. :D Great shots of all these lakes!
Amazing video
Good video
Thanks!
Thanks so much.
A lot of people have never heard of it but those who have been there would put reservation lake in the top 5.
Nice!
I like Big Lake near Greer, at 9000 feet. Best trout fishing lake! Also, he forgotten to mention Alamo Lake near Wickenburg.

Well you missed Parker lake that's just south of a do believe in sonoita Arizona and also Arivaca lake seven miles south of arivaca AZ. BUT WHAT I LEARNED IS THERE'S A BUNCH OF LAKES I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF ANYWAY ANOTHER COOL VIDEO BRO THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
I have always been a big fan of Mittry Lake in Yuma County, by the Yuma Proving Grounds myself
Love tour videos your
💛THANK YOU.
My favorite is Roosevelt because there are Large and Smallmouth Bass and lots of different areas and techniques you can use. Canyon is nice if you like to use swimsuits. I know a guy who has caught over 50 largemouth at Canyon on Swims. He actually had the state record bass has it all weighed at a certified scale nearby and made one huge mistake. You can never take a fish from one lake or out of the lake and take elsewhere and put back in the lake. His certification for the state-record turned into a citation. Apache Lake down the street from Canyon is more remote, but great. Saguaro is the smallest and closet to town and in summer you'll see a lot of skiers and related and would only fish at night which is great. Saguaro has produced nice bass over 10 over the last many years, as Bertran.
how do u film such great views? forest is listening to everything you say. never heard that b 4. Great videos.
I’m the 1,000 like 👍😄
You have to drive past Horseshoe to get to Bartlett. Bartlett is about 3mi. past Horseshoe, and Horseshoe is dry 90% of the time.

I've only heard about Horseshoe and probably the most unknown lake in the state. Back in the 80's some older friends I knew use to talk about going to Horseshoe. I have been to Bartlett many, many times and bass fishing is pretty good there, not many monsters but it's very close to Scottsdale and you can catch some good numbers and have fun. Now local show host Johnny Johnson he's caught some big ones out there he has displayed on his show.
Thank you for featuring the lakes. Very interesting. Would have liked to hear about the depth of each lake; if fishing was allowed; what type of fish; the wildlife in the area (are there any bears, wolves, coyotes in Arizona; are any Park Rangers on duty and do they provide any lectures or your guides; what are cost of camping; and do you recommend any vehicle to travel to all lakes. The mini history on Teddy Rosevelt was interesting. Could you add more tidbits about the other lakes
Enjoyed the video. Please do same type of video for fishermen
I would like to know the history behind these lakes. Lake Lanier here in Georgia is a flooded city and is said to be haunted. With all of the deaths surrounding it…I believe it that it truly may be haunted
can you do a video on what's the best part of Arizona for hunters?
Did you take all this drone footage Jeff? You should do some camera / drone reviews on urbanJ you'd have some good insights 👍

Roosevelt for numbers and size. Canyon and Saguaro if you want to try for a state record. Pleasant has largemouth and striped bass but is often known as unpleasant due to it’s difficulty. Bartlett is known as a numbers lake with size being tough to come by but they’re in there.
Of the lakes with water sports are kayak available for rent?
Wow, they still got water, California almost got non any more !
Horseshoe Lake is Much closer to Phx. than Bartlett! C'mon man! lol!

I was reading from a comment that only one of all those lakes is a natural lake. It is true ? Were all the others created by man ?
No Lake Powell or Lake Mead?
Can't imagine skipping past Apache Lake to show Canyon. Apache is, by far, a much nicer lake.

Wondering how someone mentions canyon lake without talking about Tortilla Flats.
SRP wants to build another 4 lakes but environmentalists have tied them in court for 25 years now.

You cannot swim in any lake in the Prescott area with the exception of Lynx Lake, which just starting allowing swim access beginning during the Covid pandemic - AMAZING… of all the times the government could’ve chosen to put everybody in a big pool of water together, they chose a global pandemic. Lol. You can kayak, SUP, canoe and electric motor boat in many of the other lakes, but only swim in Lynx lake.
The best lake in Arizona is Kari Lake! I hope to see her in the White House very soon.
