Personally, I'm hyped on the vapor max design, but I'm going to wait till the other colorways release. Everyone's got their preferences. There's some wild ones coming out in June.

Played in them today! Very soild and compact. Pretty much same shoe as 16 but lighter and stick more to the court

I think that was intentional just like the Jordan signature line takes aspects from the same number models.

Not gonna lie KDs feel like a hyperdunk type model, not a signature. It’s great that it works well for a lot of people, but there just isn’t enough detail or occasion to the shoe.

Probably because of the price point. The don’t pull out the stops w/ shoe tech until you’re in the $200 shoe tier.

@@kellswiss I mean sure that’s true, but it looks pretty bad when Anta is doing it for $25 less and Kyrie’s line with Nike never crossed $140 and had all the detail. The Ja 1s that cost $130 at most were more a signature shoe than the last 3 KDs have been. It’s like he quite caring about the design of his shoes and Nike is just rehashing some of the detailing from 90s shoes to make them seem interesting

@@DanielEndres-cu3tt you may be right, I just think that Nike doesn’t care about the competition. They might have containment over too much of the market to care honestly. But the Ja 1’s don’t have too much tech in them either, I believe, just a zoom unit at the forefoot. The only shoes I know of that are full of shoe tech with more than that from Nike are LeBron 21 ($200), GT Cut 3 ($190), GT Jump 2 ($190), etc.
