Hello. The problem with that continuous active horn is because that "circuit board" how you called it (by the way it is called a Horn Bridge), was not adjusted properly after reassembly in steering wheel. That adjustment of how much those horn bridge screws are torqued, is actually done by a machine, not manually by a human hand. So this is why the airbag got so sensitive when pressing. P.S. I work in steering wheel factory in Romania, which is actually producing also that R8 steering wheel.

I love seeing Sydney enjoying your cars with you, it reminds me of growing up and my Dad taking me for rides in his hot rods and on his motorcycles and I remember how much I enjoyed those times and how much they influenced my love for all things fast.

What ended up being the issue with it being lose? I just installed one of these. The screws for that silver plate are super tight and the springs still have some play, but the airbag feels lose and wobbly
