I have a 13ft Saturn Heavy Duty still in the box and a 20hp Tohatsu to slap on the back of it. Still have to modify an old jon boat trailer and I am back on the water. These inflatables offer such a good value. Please post more! Btw, love the area :). Also - it still surprises me how these boats haul a$$ with a 15hp on the back. I really like the bimini top with the 3rd bow and rear struts. It looks much nicer than the simple 2 bow model that I have. Where did you buy it? Also, how much does your boat weigh? I have the lightest 12.5' boat Saturn offered, called Mars. It's only 95 lbs & has an inflatable floor. It has been a good boat. I've found that I have to go slow when the water gets choppy because the boat gets bounced around & it's hard to steer. Maybe a heavier version would handle the chop better. I think the main issue is that it's only 12.5' long. Some folks have asked if it's okay to leave them inflated. I've left mine in the water, parked in the shade (PVC isn't good being in constant sun), for a few months this Summer and also last Summer. The air pressure drops over time & needs to be pumped up after a couple of weeks, probably more often in hotter weather than cooler weather. The bottom gets slimy, but it comes off pretty well with a bit of bleach.

You can definitely leave it inflated. A lot of people actually do leave it inflated and put it on an actual trailer and store it in their garage. That’s the only thing, I’m not sure how well it would do being outside all the time. I would imagine the sun would break it down after a few years of being outside all the time. I would definitely store it inside over the winter.

Great questions! I live close to St. Louis so I store the boat for a good portion of the year as well. If I had unlimited space I would store the boat with 50% air but unfortunately I just can’t lose that much space to it over the winter months. I roll it up and it stays in my garage. I have been curious about mice as well but I have never had a problem with them yet. Hope this helps!

@@ColtenBethel I appreciate your opinion but they’re really not all basically the same. They look similar and have similar sizing but when you drill down the thickness you get and where you get it is not the same and for persons like me who use inflatables in far more rugged environments than what you showed, a fraction of a mm matters, where has extra rub strakes by default matters. Also for a 12’ I’d absolutely suggest an air floor over alu. I personally would love it if we could get air floors in the 14-16’ inflatable range but I don’t recall seeing any with that yet.
