Vishu bheiya, mera question hai, ismain preload adjuster ata hain. Ye toh aap ne bataya nhi. per mujhe lagta hai ki sayad se nhi hai. itna mahenga bike or preload adjuster nhi hai?

I think this is costly deal. A Hybrid bike does not need deore group set for Indian road for touring or weekend gravel adventure. By using Acera or altus group set bike price should be decreased. Although Maril is presenting best bikes for real cyclist. But near 50 K hybrid little costly. For MTB this one is best price and group set to enjoy off-road adventure. Marlin should put this group set in Marlin GT at 45k then this would be a best deal.

I beg to differ on this. I switched from 3x to 1x in my hybrid and found 1x more superior and below are my observation 1. 3x was more complicated in shifting as there were too many gear combination leaving me confused specially during climbing when compared to 1x its either up or down 2. My derailleur required regular tuning in 3x when compared to 1x 3. 3x drivetrain was heavier making by bike heavy resulting in less speed in climbing 4. 3x is too cluttered as my handle bar was too cluttered with shifters on both sides 5. 1x gave a cleaner look on seat tube and handle bar 6. Drive quality for deore is way too superior when compared to acera and the price is justified My thought on this bike : Its a great bike with awesome components complimenting the bike and definitely value for money.

Exactly. Power down the gearset a bit and increase the overall quality like rims and tyres. Suspension fork is just a gimmick and adds weight to a hybrid.

@@cycleriderrohit814 I have replaced tyres with maxis 40c fast rolling but no major change in speed. Stock tyres are at softer side due to which I faced couple of punctures. Now I have managed to get Pirelli 45c tyres which are expected to receive in next month. Hope those tyres will be better

Congrats for 300k Vishu . Hope you hit the million mark soon. They are targeting the trek dual sport series with this model for sure. The specs are quite similar to Trek DS3 2022 which costs around 64k. Obviously the brand name commands a premium. I got a Trek DS2 2022 this year and though the 1*10 is more expensive opted for the DS2 with 2*9 which gives me more options riding uphill. What do you think was the 5k saving a wise decision? Is Trek worth the hype?

Thanks Rahul for the wishes. Trek as a brand is big and they spend a lot of money on advertisement and atheletes, so they need to recover all that money out of somewhere. Marlin as a brand may be relatively new in comparison to Trek but I think they are trying to provide the best value for money product to help user get the high end bikes experience without breaking the bank. What I saw both have similar quality materials and ride feel is similar. So for someone who wants to save money and spend that extra cash on accessories like Helmet etc can opt for Marlin, for someone who needs a brand name then They always have the choice to go for expensive bikes. May be down the line after 2-3 years Marlin would also start rolling some high end MTB's like Trek Scott etc.

Trek fx3 is daddy of all hybrid bikes. Though costly but worth it.

Trek FX3 is a good commuter focused hybrid bike designed for smooth roads, but yes it's expensive and not everyone can afford it. Marlin fills the gap between high end components at an affordable budget.

Both are great but rc500 have good value for money and its tubeless ready and supports wider gravel tyres and shimano sora is great for long term use.

It seems great hybrid bike in this price range...just have one question can we change the tyre and use some thineer than this like road bike tyres...700×25c or 28c....which one would be better in your opinion....the deafult one or 25c or 28c. Bergamont is a 2x9 Hybrid, Polygon same with rigid. 1X drivetrains are more expensive than a 2x or 3X otherwise this would have been under 35-37K

Yes a hollowtech crankset is better in terms of performance and overall output, it also provides option to change chainring when you need. The narrow wide chainring is 4x expensive than traditional non-narrow wide chainrings.

Buy from here only - amzn.to/3fRum97 The bike is good, it has all the required features for regular rides, and long distance rides. Good brakes, deore drivetrain is excellent, after sales service from marlin is good. Buy from my Amazon link under 12 hours and it will help me get a small Amazon Commission to help me create more video.

I like this cycle and wish to buy but the problem is i didn't find 700 40c tyres anywhere online. If in future I had to change my tyres i don't know where to buy 🥺

This is overpriced for it's spec sheet. I can understand that it's hybrid but they can't get away by saying it's hybrid. Suntour 63mm that's too less also no preload. The 1by makes no sense for city riding i donno why youtubers are going about spreading mis information. I have a converted Firefox bad attitude with 1by 38T in front and 10cogs 46T-10T in rear deore group set and let me tell you other than mountain trail it's not useful for anything else. Its too slow on city roads and range is very low. Compared to my veloce V200 which has 3by 8 and i can quickly jump up and down ratios using front derailleur whenever an up comes up or i get held up by traffic unexpected, in 1by if i am on 10th gear i have to crunch all my way up to 3rd which makes horrible noises and not to mention the casset gets run down very badly because of that. Acera groupset is best for city riding with at least 2by to help speed up cause if there is one thing motorists hate about the cyclists is their speed on road, with 42T on front gives good quick boost to reach 40-50Km/h very easily and not piss off motorists on road.

1X drivetrains are 3-4times expensive than 2x or 3X. As you said youtubers are spreading mis-information, you bought a 16K basic hybrid then spent another 15-20K for upgrading into a 1X? I can easily ride @25-35kmph on this bike with less effort, further if one needs to upgrade they can always opt for a bigger chainring which a 1X offers, may be for people who only wants to ride on roads a cheaper 3X variant is good but for people who needs a bike which can be used on Gravel, Touring, Adventurous ride a 1X bike makes more sense.

Not exactly, this is a size Small frame with 700X40C wheelsets. M, L, XL frame looks entirely different.
