Bes HX35 Turbo Rebuild Kit You Can Buy (turbo lab of america). Got the new HX35 turbo rebuild kit today. I ordered this rebuild kit from turbo lab of america. I have to say that just from looking at this rebuild kit, it is nicer than the kit I got from Diesel Auto Power. Diesel Auto Power's turbo rebuild kit only came with the bare minimum, but this turbo lab of america hx35 turbo rebuild kit came with all new parts to full freshen up the hx35 center cartridge (bearing housing) It has new oil seal plate, thrust collar, heat shield, and so on. All of the parts in this turbo rebuild kit are a hx35 upgraded part to give you a nice fresh hx35 turbo upgrade. I plan to get the hx35 off of the 2nd gen 24 valve cummins on friday night and rebuild the turbo then. Hopefully we can enjoy this 2nd hx35 rebuild a little longer than one week and put it through a bit more to see what it is capable of doing. I also am planning to order a little surprise for the channel and trying to figure that all out right now, so stay tuned. Very nice kit! I like turbo lap products
I’ve got severe shaft play currently on my hx35. Will this rebuild kit fix that? I’m also ordering a wicked wheel for it.
the kit looks solid... you ever think you'll do a compound set-up ?

Did you ever do a turbo from turbo lab?
Why didn't you just pull the center section off the turbine housing? About to rebuild my buddy's, if I don't have to mess with the exhaust side, I won't.

I did end yp5getting it all separated. It was just really stuck together from being old and used. So it took a lot of convincing to get it all pulled apart so I could rebuild it.

I rebuilt mine about 3 years ago with a similar kit and now I have to rebuild it again. I'm trying to find a genuine holset rebuild kit.

yup bought it straight from turbo labs of america. this exact kit only think is that i cant get the snap ring on the compressor housing to seat with the o-ring on the backing plate and i dont remember if there was one on when i took it apart www.ebay.com/itm/Holset-HE341-HE351CW-HY35-Turbo-Rebuild-Kit-with-Vband-Clamp-4031484/123032444787?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

ronnie cason it was tough to seat the oil seal plate and o-ring on the hx35 too and get the snap ring in there. The thrust collar has to be aligned just right with everything as you press it down in there. I pressed the seal plate and worked around d the edges until it snapped down in place then pressed the snap ring until popped in its groove.

ronnie cason I would have to think the o-ring was on there though because that's how it seals in the backing plate.

i didnt have an issue with the oil seal plate. The kit for the hy-35 has an oring for the oil seal plate and for the backing plate that goes into the compressor housing thats what im having issues with i just cant get the snap ring to seat properly on the compressor housing with that oring
