I have tried watching your channel and videos but I have a little constructive criticism. We don't want a life story about everything except what the video is supposed to be about. Too much unrelated wasted time get straight to the point about the wire and be done you get people lost and I didn't even see what the intended information of the video was. I just can't subscribe at this point simplify the videos to the topic without taking a ride for ten minutes. Open the hood get to the point then the solution and maybe a couple minutes of information that explains detail. I'll be checking back to hopefully subscribe just trying to help you with attracting more subscribers

Moving the distributor only changes the injector sync, it doesn't affect the ignition timing, timing is based off the crank position sensor which is not adjustable.

If it still leaks, start by replacing the high and low valve cores. The high side the whole port unthreads and gets replaced. The low side is just a shrader valve. Fixed my leaks

The low pressure switch is protecting the compressor from being burnt up. It's going to do that until you reach the minimum volume for the system. Your gauge will level off and then very shortly After that, it should be in the green. And you're good if you don't have leaks. The refrigerant itself is a lubricant and somewhat of a cooling agent for the compressor. If it gets too low and you call for a c, not knowing there has been a leak, you will be replacing the compressor, so it's a safety switch for the compressor. 👍

Great video. I've done a little bit of tuning on gas engines turbo cars. But this is a whole different ballgame. I've been into Cummins my whole life and it's a weird to start diving into custom tuning like this on a Cummins. Never used to be that way with these diesels. Looking forward to it and it's so new to me ha ha. Thanks for the in-depth video. I really wish there was more in-depth stuff like this out there. I gotta say quad Zila did a terrible job giving good explanation on their product thorough explanation and instructions.

Big part of the problem is environmentalist are very coordinated and many of them are in the government and are environmental lawers and staff the EPA and we are not activist types we dont collectivly lobby the government or tge EPA so all they hear are environmentalists and we just bitch to each other. We need to band together and sue the EPA for overstepping their authority. Last year the Supream court ruled the EPA does have the authority to regulate truck like tgey have been thats the job of congress and the states

I have used the Mopar filter. I am currently using the Cummins Filtration Fleetguard LF3894; Shell Rotella T6 Full Synthetic 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil (1-Gallon, Case of 3); or Valvoline Premium Blue SAE 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil 1 GA, Case of 3. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 5.9l Cummins diesel. I change my oil every 7,500 miles. The manual that came with my truck says to change it every 15,000 miles for normal duty and 7,500 miles for severe duty (lots of pulling, running hard, etc...).

The 5.9 magnum is a solid runner cheap to work on but she is thirsty and a little gutless. The 5.9 Cummins is a strong motor good mpg reliable as well tows like nothing else, but miss a fuel filter change and you are down $1800 for injectors super pricey to work on. Doesn’t like driving in town. Have lots to worry about exhaust temp, engine temp training etc. So it’s really up to you if you are going to haul every day or at least every weekend get a diesel and keep up on the maintenance, if you are going to tow a small trailer or even something a little bigger every once in awhile get the magnum

If you hooked up the fass system to yoyr key on. You ruined the vp44 by over pressuring. You need to hook up the signal wire to the oem lift pump harness. Hope this helps others

Do these issues also affect thev47RE behind the V-10? I'm looking at a 97 with that combo and I'm looking for issues i might face. I know heat is a big killer of these transmissions and i already have plans on how to deal with that if i buy it.

There's a plate on the side of the block motor the seal is bad to replace it you have to remove the injectors pump the cover plate is from the front of the engine and it's always to the back I done that on My truck before

I'm gonna say it cuz it needs saying, if it weren't for all the punks running around ROLLING COAL the EPA wouldn't be up our asses right now. But too damn many guys purposely blowing big ass clouds of shit out is exactly why this is happening. I have been drag racing Diesels since 93 and learned a long time ago that black smoke is unburned wasted fuel. And a perfect storm to melt down the motor. If you mix that fuel with enough air ( appropriate Turbo) your truck will hit warp speed, the smoke will be gone and so will the high EGTs. So next time you hear some dip shit bragging bout rolling coal, slap the shit of him and tell him to quit fu_kin it up for the rest of us who are responsible hot rodders doing it right. Dont be so inclusive and let them slide, Shame the dumb asses before we have Cali style road side sniffer stops everwhere passing out huge fines. FYI its $25,000 a day , so its no laughing matter. So if that gets em butt hurt so be it they can have my boot extracted

Your are awesome!! Best video about this I have ever watched. Im about to buy a '19 350 w/Cummings at an auctionts and it has the P0871 code that scares me. I've never owned a Diesel ever but learning quickly thanks to youtube. Im going to replace the pressure sensor on the outside of it and see what happens. If it doesnt fix it I'll probably put your kit. I dont think the solenoid could cause that OBD code. From what I've seen its a different code just for that part. IDK I have no clue about this but Im buying that truck no matter what. Again, you rock and the video was very concise without the extra time wasting babble.

They just aren't designed or built Enough stock to handle 1000 hp or 399 horsepower that's all😂 But you can make them strong and Wonderful and have some good times if you build them up and have the time and money and resources
