Yes sir we use the same thing over here at walla walla fence we just call it a sweeper. Takes the job from one guy instead of shoveling 👍

Dam that is a Brilliant Idea. I will be writing this one down.

17 years ago on a job I was the shovel guy and the weld broke on the auger attachment. Left me with a nice long cut across my chest. It came at me so fast,fortunately I got out of the way in time before major damage

How fast was it spinning to it flew at you?

Nice idea. Could could paint some safety colors on the ends, especially back side where it won’t be worn off

Digging is still a necessity and will be for quite some time unfortunately..

Did u weld a lip all the way around the bit? To catch and hold more dirt I assume.

Yes we did. 👍🏻 We used rebar--it also helps with the wear and tear on the outside of the auger. We use hard-surfacing wire on all of our augers to prolong the life.
