Have you read anything by Vanessa Riley? She writes Regency Romance. I love her books. Beverly Jenkins is a national treasure period. Piper Huguley also writes great historical fiction set in the early 1900's.

I started reading historical novels and other romantic novels 7 yrs back... My fav historical authors are julia quinn and sarah mclean... My all time favorite is ruby dixon and her ice planet barbarian series.. Her immense talent in creating an imaginary alien world is simply astounding

Try the author Beverly Jenkins. She’s wonderful! She writes historical fiction.

I'm searching for an agent to accept my manuscript for Historical Romance. I have looked online and I see the same names over and over and they have all turned me down. My story is not about any Duke's or anything royal. It's based right here where I live in the deep south of the US. It's more Native American and even though a majority of the agents who actually read a few pages of my manuscript say that it's "not for them". I think if they would actually read the story and see what it's about that they could at least recommend someone. NOT Writer's Digest. Their website is in disarray. Too many ads and nothing to look at. It's hard to get someone to read anything. I hope to have it published before I die. It's taken decades and lots of $$ for me to get it edited and written exactly how I want it to be.

I love history and I love historically accurate romance (with proper etiquette, clothes and activities). 🙆🏾‍♀️

So many historical romance fans! Can you please help me find a book? The female character goes to a scoundrel , I think a night club owner, to ask for help. His conditions are that she spend the night in his house (he has two women in bed with him) and take the walk of shame home in the morning. Her family has to believe her - that nothing happened. They don't. I thought it was Evangeline Jenner's father, Ivo, a character in a book by Lisa Kleypas, but I can't find the book. Can you help? Thank you!
