Yes, it’s made for use with foil only. As many of us think it might be a step backwards, but after trying it personally, we believe this is a step forward. Since it was engineered with a lot of details, testing and experience, it will change the hookah session.
We gave this HMD 10 out of 10 rating while using Forma Hookah Bowl which gives really unique taste transfer, so if you use other bowl, it might be different. So the bowl is also matters.

The savant is great. Since i got it. I've been using it, nonstop. I really pull different flavors out of your, shisha. I used Malaki brand, and it tastes so much better. It fits every bowl just fine. Even its smaller, it will work fine. It's worth every penny.

I have used it without foil, it does work but gets extremely hot fast. Since receiving it, it is definitely been my go-to. Hmd, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I know there's a lot of haters for whatever reason, but if you want to enjoy your session sometimes you have to put past behind and see when something is really worth buying. 100% recommend

I'm still lost with "the haters" I keep hearing about. I've been eye balling this HMD for a while now, didn't know Sarkis was the one who made it until watching this video. I got back into hookah last October and Sarkis's KZread channel and live streams were a big help. In researching this HMD I saw reddit posts reading like "the makers drama aside, who's still thinking about getting one"... something alone those lines. I enjoy the online hookah community so far, I'm sure I've missed a few battles, shit talks, and misunderstandings over the years which could be attributed to these comments. I try to stay away from toxic online communities, hopefully I'm not unknowingly entering one. I don't think I am, everyone seems cool and willing to learn and help. I definitely wanna pick up this HMD, seems like a good addition to my collection. Been waiting to see a picture of it on top of a Mason Gravyl bowl.

@@nikku1166hey! I hope you do pick up the Savant - I worked hard on bringing something uniquely new, innovative and effective on the market. Regarding “haters” I’ve not talked to anyone of such people for at least 7 years. So what you’re hearing are ppl in the same headspace as a decade ago. Anyone who mentions haters when talking about me is just being cautious because they will DM them and nag them for supporting anything I do. To me it’s just the cost of being in my position and if that’s what it takes to help awesome people like yourself, then I’m all for it. Hope that clears it up for you! Here’s to better sessions 👑

I've been using Kaloud Lotus 1+ for a while now. However, it worked with certain titles. In fact, it works poorly with heads that have a small tobacco chamber. Lotus works well when you choose heads where you can put more tobacco. Because unfortunately, some burn tobacco while they are at work. You need more tobacco left at the bottom.

I might have to try this because I have the lotus 3 and the glass bowl that goes with it and it either burns too hot or not high enough. I’ve grown to hate it no idea why.

Consider grabbing a quality clay bowl. Glass is an inferior material when it comes to hookah smoking due to its thermal properties which does not go with the natural rhythm of the session. Regardless, I’m certain that you’ll love the ARKA Savant

@@ZeusyZeus you can always opt for the ARKA Tempest LP1 or any clay bowl such as the Oblako Mono or the Grigo Shooter bowls if you’re on a budget - all will fit the ARKA Savant perfectly without need to purchase additional adapters
