TheMuzikall yes very true. It’s upmarket. Ain’t no pure gym there’s staff who wipe every machine after you’ve been on it. Pure gym doesn’t even have staff really 🤣

What's Awesome about this...you noticed how she kept going on about Packages but didn't mention Any prices???...plus you join a gym..but you don't have access to the Boxing area...Different package. .. if Sauna Jaccuzi Swimming Pool is a different package it's understandable. .but Boxing? ??...I can't go and work out on the Bag????

@@qidas6981 You can't impose Trainers on Clients of the know what they are doing.. Boxing is Cardio and Explosive Power.. Somes of us prefer Boxing to Treadmill

Vanessa, what is needed for some who are coming to rent and buy. What are the necessities, for rent is it monthly yearly, also what does they need for water, electric, and trash removal. How do they move in and set everything up?

The gym is great however, it’s not geared towards the average Ghanaian. The monthly membership is about 4 times the price I pay here in the states. And the gym I go to is well equipped. I’m heading to Ghana in a day. I considered this gym but the price is not appealing to me.

This particular gym is more for the upmarket,middle and rich class Ghanaian,not for the ordinary Ghanaian

This was one of the main things I was concerned about with Accra. Heavy weights and reasonably priced supplements aren't available everywhere. Not even in Western countries.

I know you’ve done different restaurant reviews before, but do you know of places that make traditional food, without Maggi? I’ve recently had a bad reaction from eating foods with additives. I kept hearing about Maggi as a needed ingredient. As I was recovering from the reaction that irritated my lymph, I looked it up, and found it’s what I can’t have. So far, it seems I’ll be safe with grilled fish and rice. I love that, but I was looking forward to having the soups as well. I talked to friends originally from The Gambia and Nigeria, and they say people are trying to spread the word that it’s not really needed and not the healthiest thing to consume. It’s a European flavor enhancer for people who don’t use spices and other tasty ingredients. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Nice gym. I have traveled to about 20 different African countries and I have observed that fitness is indeed a way of life for a cross section of the population that has some means (btw that is true in most places, even the US). In the US, I go to a gym largely because I can't workout outside when the temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it never gets that cool in Ghana so I would have no problem working out outdoors.

I don't want to be negative, but it looks rather small. I noticed they only have one stair machine, do you have to reserve it? I do one hour on this machine. That would piss the other members. It's a good start, I am sure they will expand as membership grows

Yo so the craziest thing happened to me at this gym today. So we went in to get our usual workout done today. We were getting the bench press ready to start our workout and this big dude walked to me with a stern voice asking if we were gonna use it and I said yes. He asked if I was gonna take turns with my partner and I said yes (I’m new at the gym so I didn’t understand half of what he was saying). Apparently he wanted to ask to take turns with us but I really didn’t understand him so I said oh no we are using it. This dude started yelling at me in public calling me rude because I basically didn’t understand what he was talking about. My partner came over quickly and he started telling him that I’m rude and blabla. I still didn’t understand what was going on at this point because he was being rude to me for no reason. He started grabbing the bars from us and stuff and we still had no idea what was going on. We called management to come and ask him what all that was about and explain to us at least why he is angry ( all eyes was on us at this point). The moment he saw my partner bringing the lady at the reception, he swing to have a fight with him for NO ABSOLUTE REASON. At this point we are like naaaa like what’s going on. He started telling everybody how I was being rude for answering the question “are you using this?” And I answered yes we are. I still don’t understand why this happened till now. The management was so poor at handing this and were just telling us to change our workout for the day. In the end, we didn’t get any apology for the harassment we received for no reason. FITRIP Management just let this guy harass us for no reason. We ended up leaving the gym for this guy. This is the worse thing I’ve ever experienced in my entire life and I don’t recommend this gym for anyone who isn’t ready to fight lol. This shit was hella crazy.

I’ve been there last year during my vacation. The staff is very friendless and the whole gym is brand new. To be honest, there is only the upper class training and the people visiting that gym seem to be a bit selfish.

It's ashame they don't have a swimming pool and a Sauna. It's such a nice Gym those two things would finish it off. They have the money and great packages.

The gym is not black owned the gym is international blacks Invest in a gym in afrika so the Economics stays on the continent...
