This is what we had in the 70s...no computerized garbage, no autotune, none of that fake stuff...just real artists, performing, giving you an experience that was real from start to finish.

Pure Talent 💪🏼
These are THE rock Gods. Period.
Jimmy Page has said that he would remember going on stage snd coming off, but in between he was channeling and on another plane. He was just the conduit. It came out of the ether and onto his guitar which is why his playing was often a bit “sloppy”. He reached towards his own limits to try to express what he heard in his head and he honestly didn’t worry about sounding perfect. He had balls, did Jimmy Page. Heck, the whole band did.

All the truly great guitarists don,t play to a script when playing live. Django Reinhardt Jimmy Page. S,R,V. Danny Gatton. They close their mind and let the music take over@@ShakuurReacts

Guitarists like jimmy Page and Django are different from normal guitarists they don't play to script when playing live they ignore their surroundings close their minds and play what the music tells them what to play it comes from somewhere else@@ShakuurReacts
Saw them live in 1972. You're right. I'm 70 now and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

So jealous. In a good way.
My favorite Led Zeppelin song is the one I'm listening to at the time! Every one is perfect and head and shoulders better than anyone else!
ANY song from the 1973 MSG shows is incredible...this is Led Zep at their height...Plant's voice is awesome, JPJ and Bonzo are just on point every single song...and Page is just awesome...every song they ever played live always had something different than the studio version...see Trampled Under Foot from Earls Court in 1975...great example of their incredible improvisational skills...or In My Time of Dying from same show...they were just so D____ TIGHT!! Thanks for doing these for us Old Heads...I so enjoy people actually watching true artists at work...without autotune and songs lasting more than 3-4 min's...really appreciate it

Now for some more blues.... when the Levee breaks
Led Zeppelin are one of the best-selling music artists of all time; their total record sales are estimated to be between 200 and 300 million units worldwide. They achieved eight consecutive UK number-one albums and six number-one albums on the US Billboard 200, with five of their albums certified Diamond in the US.

Sir. You are correct...they are the GOATS OF GOATS! There is so much more of them! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
GOAT. Greatest live performances of all time.
You should rewind the song by like 5 seconds before you unpause so you keep that flow of it going.
The guitar is playing him!!! Love that!
The best Led Zeppelin song is the one you happen to be listening to at any given moment... 😎

never pause jimmy page solo
THE reason my friend and I in 1973 and 1977 went to Led Zeppelin concerts? Jimmy Page. He was a brilliant shining spectacle under those stage lights - you honestly couldn't believe what you were seeing, hearing. The Master of Guitar. Absolutely, Robert Plant, an excellent vocalist and front man...but as for me ...Jimmy Page was the sole reason to have the live Zeppelin experience. Check out "Dazed and Confused"...Zeppelin never disappoints!

@ShakuurReacts "Mezmerizing" is the word for Jimmy Page in concert. Playing guitar on a level of skill that was and is still unmatched today. To be on floor level, third row in 1977, to watch and hear Jimmy Page was an absolute privilege!

This song always gives me goosebumps!!!!
Robert Plant - Lead Singer, Jimmy Page - Lead Guitar, John Paul Jones - Bass Guitar, John Bonham - Drums. Each one epic and legendary.
Another song you should do is I Can't Quit You Baby live in 1970. It will blow you away

YES...greatest band of all time!! Watch Whole Lotta Love live from this concert at msg in 1973! You can watch Jimmy play the Theramin!
You probably saw the official video of Whole Lotta Love. It would be fun for you to check out the version from this concert. It’s the final song and they pull out all the stops.
Continuing down this Led Zeppelin rabbit hole… Don’t forget to Like, Comment and Subscribe
It doesn't matter if it's a high note from Plant, a lick from Page, or a fill from Bonzo, seeing that smile sneak up on your face is the pleasure.

I was a teenager when I saw LZ in Baltimore 1973. A brunch of girls went and instantly fell in love/mesmerized with Jimmy Page. Robert Plant was SO sexy when performing. And today I am 65…those same group of girls who have never forgotten Led Zeppelin, we still listen to every album. Back in the day, We memorized the lyrics by picking the needle straight up off the LP, writing down the words placing the needle back on the LP❤ They are a part of our lives & have been for decades. I am so glad we grew up in the 70’s! These poor kids today really don’t understand REAL talent, especially instrumental & DEFINITELY lyrics. 😉
If you like this one you'll probably like Dazed And Confused a lot too, I recommend the studio version for newbies :)
Yes. And you've got a long way to go with these guys.

Yes I do
Straight blues here
Oh…I thought I’d also offer this: Zeppelin toured and recorded with a: multi-instrumentalist, first-call session bassist, professional organist, Hammond B-3 w/pedals, 6&12string guitar, mandolin, bass recorder, banjo, grand piano, clavinet keyboard…and likely a dozen other things I don’t know of. His name: John Paul Jones.
I’m partial to the blues. Love it. One of my favs
"Roundabout" by the group called YES tops or at least equals Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love! Thank me later.😆Mike C. Clarksville VA.
I’d love to see more reactions to Led Zeppelin from you, Jimmy has solos in just about every song, yes he’s the GOAT. You might like watching their movie, filmed at this concert, called The Song Remains The Same. It’s on KZread, you can buy rent or watch free with short ads. I saw the movie decades ago in the theater when it came out, & watched on KZread twice recently. It’s well worth watching.
Dazed and Confused, In My Time Of Dying and for something totally different try The Rain Song, Going to California or Battle of Evermore. OR, better still, start from album 1 track 1 and listen to everything - you will not be disappointed :)
Led Zep is the greatest band of all time. Your guitar-loving life won't be complete until you see Stevie Ray Vaughn's Texas Flood live at the El Mocambo.
Dazed and Confused live tops it all
buy the " song remains the same" bluray. It has this entire concert. literally mind blowing. itll change your life.

You need to go on Zepp journey... through their entire catalogue
Suggest you watch In My Time of Dying live 1975 at Earls Court. Great blues rock…great slide guitar eork by Jimmy!
There are many more tracks that may float your boat more but this is a killer track it all depends on your personal taste... If you're not so much into the slower blues try Achilles last stand it's a banger ! ✌️
Just keep enjoying...Bringing back the days when i first discovered it.....much love outstanding !

Robert Plant, singer (also plays a mean harmonica in "When the Levee Breaks).
Robert Plant - singer. Jimmy Page-Genius/guitar, John Paul Jones-Bass/keyboard, John Bonham-Drums (RIP). Try "immigrant Song" next. Dazed n Confused, Ramble On, Heartbreaker, soo many more! Enjoy!
Try "How Many More Times" . Last song, 1st album. They all shine qnd show you what they're made of. Watch all the wayto the end. But not the live version.
Pure love and soul for music my child. If you allow me I would like to make you a suggestion. Please, enjoy the song as whole piece, no pauses, and comment all you have to say at the end. Believe me, it's much better travel along the complete song, you can appreciate it much more. Regards.

Well said.
Funny thing about this song. It only became popular since this youtube stuff started. Sure us Zeppelin songs knew about it but not the masses. Another song like this to a lesser degree is "In My Time of Dying." That is a top 3-5 song by them for me. yet no one thats not a Zeppelin fan has ever really heard it. And the Live version I think is as good as this song live. By the way, this is the official live version of the song that replaced the original version about 5-10 years ago. The original version was a little bit better and showed the crowd a lot. It also didn't have those dam pop ups on the screen. And it had a short segment of them behind stage relaxing and talking. You can still find it but you gotta dig a bit.
You should also do The Song Remains The Same and The Rain Song double from 73 Madison Square Garden
Robert Plant singing!
Jimmy Page makes that guitar speak❤
What sets Led Zep apart from other bands is the telepathy between them they all seem to know what each other is going to do before they do it
Sidebar... I think my top epic concert moment of my life was seeing Elton John perform a tribute to Princess Diana under a full moon at the Hollywood Bowl right after her untimely death. Not a dry eye in the house as thousands of candles waved.
I was at the same concert they did in Chicago in '73 when i was 21 yrs old and there wasn't another band on the planet that gave me what they gave me.
Great reaction. Have you considered listening to their catalogue chronologically?
Robert Plant..John Paul Jones bass.. Bonzo drums..Page..
Listen to studio versions as well.
The Rover bro..... banger all day
💯
You have to listen to Led Zeppelin one album at a time from the beginning
Good luck rating the songs. I’m unable to do it. My favorite is what I’m listening to now.

@@ShakuurReacts It’s so true. I could more easily tell you what I don’t like rather than my favorites. Favorites really do change from day to day.
You need to watch 1970 ALbert Hall you shook me babe blow your mind
You're hearing Page. Studio musician, yardbirds, Led Zeppelin, the firm. He's the most brilliant musician just not guitarist. There's a whole story behind him producing in such a short time with Michael jaggers company or his loaned space that it seemed supernatural. He owned Alistar crowley's home at one point. He was fascinated with the occult but zero evidence he was a practitioner, just a student ,as am I. He is the most talented musician of our lifetime. He used Mississippi Delta Blues. Elvis was an influence, and we know musically his style was African Rhythms from the Deep South (southern gospelmusic included) with bluegrass which is of Irish/Scottish origin (country music is closest derivative) it was formerly known as rockabilly. Buddy holly. Etc. It progressed to more blues, it's why media wouldn't show young Elvis dancing, it was too black, too primal, but everyone adored it. He broke so many barriers. Led Zeppelin. (Page in general) really adored Mississippi Delta Blues, he loved Elvis. They took those musical origins and made it heavy metal with the most brilliant musicians who were also symbiotic. They will be recognized as the Mozart of their era.
Robert Plant was every girl’s virile white knight back in the day. He never wore a shirt, skin tight jeans.. that was his look
check out Robert Plant and Alison Krauss also. It's like there you hear what an incredible singer he reallly is without the screaming
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant kill it!!!
They were at MSG for consecutive nights, this night SIBLY is magnificent, but look up the video for the other night (the one w/ the cop looking on bewildered etc....) and the solos are a bit smoother, not taking one thing away from this performance, but I prefer the other, where they let it 'cook' a little more.
Robert Plant (vocals and harmonica)
Robert Plant. Lead Singer for Led Zeppelin.
In case no one told you yet, Robert Plant - vocals, Jimmy Page -guitars, John Paul Jones - bass, organ, and John Bonham (Bonzo) - drums. Greatest band ever!
and Plant just went though 4 octaves in one breath. most singers can sing in 2, with autotune .
Eric Clapton/ Cream. Give a listen
Try, IN My Time Of Dying
the singer is Robert plant.. a rock God.
Without Jimmy page, there would have never been a Led zeppelin. And without Keith moon there would have never been the name Led zeppelin.
This guitar intro begins running right out of another song: Misty Mountain Hop. The two songs were placed together for their ‘73 tour this way purposely - so John Paul Jones wouldn’t have to get up from the keyboard!
Jimmy Page is great for sure. Have you seen his friend and other great guitarist Jeff Beck?
How many octaves does it take for you to appreciate Robert Plant? Hip hop kills the ears for live sound.
Kennedy Center Honors Led Depletion President Obama
One of the best live performances ever. Good luck trying to find a Zeppelin song you don't like you'll just think it's good and not awesome
kashmir live 1979
The story goes, Plant was wearing a womans blouse given to him before the show...it may have been a little sexual encounter before the show.
