I was 19 then and when the movie “ The Song Remains the Same “ came out, we were at the theater every Friday night. And the theater held it over for a year or so. Seriously, it was a packed house every Friday night. Kickin ass on guitar and face melting solos came from this movie.

They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.

Nobody has the heavy mystical vibe that Zep has on stage. Their stage presence is second to none.

There is no cure for the Zep sickness.

In my opinion, the greatest song of all time. I could listen to it on repeat for hours and still be in awe every time.

@@JU5TINPDX i first herd Zeppelin when i was 11 yrs.old my older sister's boyfriend was playing carosulamba on his tape deck and i was fascinated by the song. so he went home and put the whole album ,in through the out door on tape for me and the rest is history.i just turned 51 and still listen to a Zeppelin song once a day..thumbs up .."HAMMER OF THE GODS "....

Daniel Nicholson I went to one and it was awesome! My only regret is that I didn’t get to see them even more. Had planned to go see them in 1981 but it just wasn’t meant to be, I guess.

nice..i seen them first in 95' the no quarter tour and then again in 98' the walking into clarksdale tour....i just turned 51 and still listen to zeppelin once a day " HAMMER OF THE GODS"

Ricky Spanish I do remember most of it plus I have it on bootleg. I remember there was a long delay for them to come back out for an encore. What was happening backstage was the cops (one was my Dad’s good friend who got me the tickets) wanted to arrest a Plant. He had hit a cop with his microphone during the concert for the way they were roughing up a fan. Badass.

i saw them in 1977 at the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles. well...technically it's in Inglewood, but the Lakers and Kings played there at the time.

When you watch “In my time of dying” it will blow your mind! Plant was the original swag!

Amazing when you already know the studio version and see how much of this performance is completely improvised.

THE G.O.A.T they broke every attendance record ever set by the Beatles, They were the first band too ever have a private jet. Watch the movie "The Song Remains the Same" and you will totally enjoy and freak out at the same time. You have to do the Zepathon to really understand the band called Led Zeppelin.

Robert Plant invented swag. I love your reaction! By the way, he’s still alive and playing. He just played the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco last week. Of course, he can’t hit the high notes anymore but still...it’s Robert Plant. The only one who died is John Bonham, the widely known GOAT drummer, who died early 1980. His death was the reason why they dissolved the band. 😢

It’s nearly the perfect live performance. The entire concert is possibly one of the best ever recorded. I remember reading that their first concerts went on for 3 hours. The stamina displayed by John Bonham is incredible and he is loving every moment. Just an incredible display of the defining moment where ‘epic’ and ‘concert’ were put together in a meaningful way.

Mitch Duarte...all the reactors have been doing that same version of that song from Denmark TV. Please, try out the ALBUM version! The dark mid section is so heavy and and they never played it like that live (albeit their live versions are all fantastic).

It doesn't get any better than this. Every single one of the four men in this group was phenomenal and can we please acknowledge John Paul Jones who played two instruments at one time, the keyboard and the bass... that's unheard of. ❤ I'm so glad I grew up when rock music was at its peak.

You really need to check out Ian Gillan with deep purple, "child in time" is where you should start. Powerful voice, God like range. Unbelievable song.

Yes the Plant Page and Jones are all still alive...look them up on the internet. They do interviews and such...and Jimmy Page can still play the bad-ass guitar!!

There are some audios of “You Shook Me” out there, but I haven’t seen any live videos. They did “Stairway To Heaven” at the same concert that was truly amazing.

I still have my Led Zeppelin albums from when they came out, still my favorite Rock band after all theses years!

I seen him in 88 also. I believe it was called the "Now and Zen" tour. Was too young and too late to see Zep, but this was the next best thing.

I graduated from HS in 75; Zep was on our FM radios, 8-track tapes, and everywhere, back then. And now you know why. Congrats, and welcome to the club!

It is so fun watching a young guy hear (and see) this for the 1st time. Awesome.

I saw them three times live back in the 70's and twice after they reunited with jason taking the place of his late father. Still have my torn ticket stubs. Un Freakin' believable each and every time. This song live was exceptionally good, the entire arena was just totally encapsulated , you could just feel the passion overwhelm.

The lead guitarist is Jimmy Page, he was a studio musician as a teenager.

Legendary video..... Legendary band.... So much talent combined, mostly Plant and Page.... Godly!

Robert is the bravest singer in Rock...he takes incredible risks and allows accidents to occur w his voice.
