A topic for discussion: If you lift the ball up on your blade and it is above the height of your knees, shouldn´t it be a free strike for the defending team, even if it is a goal? I think almost half of the goals here are shot with the ball on the blade above the permitted height.

Exactly what I wanted to write (being goalie and referee). Eklund's goal at 1:37, just to give an example, the ball leaves the stick even above his waist.

referees in pro leagues tend to be more lenient toward this rule

@@user-ve3qf5pu3u well yes, but some of them are way too high and on top of that, there is no rule that permits having the ball on your blade above the height of knees

@@jakubmotl7749 don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with the leniency of high sticking, I’m just saying that it is common for refs to allow these goals in pro leagues.
