The best one for my 35 year Airline Career:- " Sydney Tow Charlie Zulu Alpha there appears to a Beer can on the taxiway" (Sydney Tower Australia) "Charlie Zulu Alpha, full or empty?". Every pilot on the ground grabbed the mike but we were too slow. BTW We were the only Airline in the World that asked Clearence Delivery for a "Green Flight" clearance & we got special priority. (The "Greeny" was the local Hotel ATC & us drank at).
Allegedly conversation between Frankfurt and a BAflight (Brithish Airways") BA pilot asked for confirmation of something... Frankfurt "have you never been to Frankfurt before?: BA pilot "No, but my Grandfather flew over in 1943, but he didn't stop"...

There's another story that goes similar to this. An American was traveling to France, and upon arriving, he was fumbling, trying to find his passport. The customs agent rolled his eyes and told him he should have known to have his passport at the ready. The traveler apologized and said last time he was in France, he didn't have to show his passport. The customs agent said that was ridiculous, and France has always required showing your passport. The traveler snapped back, "The last time I was here was in June of 1944 and i couldn't find one single Frenchman to show my passport to." Hope you enjoyed the laugh, just wanted to return the favor.

Kennedy Steve. One of the worst ground controllers I ever experienced in 30+ years of international piloting to major airports. Along with another female JFK controller. Amazing how many clips online there are of confusion between controller and pilot that involve him, and JFK. Instead of throwing up red flags some people interpret it as good controlling and entertainment. His derogatory and frankly bullying conspiratorial “asides” to usually USA carriers, often at the expense of pilots of foreign non-English speaking nations, reminds me of schoolyard bullies & one of the most utilised examples of inappropriate behaviour used in CRM courses; the one where the Captain’s and Flight Engineer’s belittling of the F/O led to a fatal crash….. the “difference between a co-pilot and a duck” story, where the F/O’s last words were something like “die you ****” shortly before impact. Sadly, several of the current JFK controllers continue in the same tradition. What many KFK controller fans do not realise, is that behind the scenes, most international carriers (and I suspect a good many domestic carriers) hold JFK and its controllers in poor esteem, but either are too polite or realise it is pointless to point it out or comment on it. A controller’s job is not to belittle and entertain. The “Kennedy culture” in a cockpit would never be tolerated in modern cockpit, with this exact type of culture and behaviour addressed as negatively impacting on safety at every CRM course developed. It is also interesting to note that the worst of JFK behaviour is experienced amongst Ground Controllers, which leads me to suspect that the people in charge actually recognise the problem, and places those people where they could do the least amount of damage. With my carrier I been flying regularly to 9 or so of the largest USA airports. While JFK has largely remained the same for the last 20 years that I have operated there, airports like Chicago, LAX and Miami have massively improved and have become a pleasure to fly to. Kudos to MIA which has a great reputation amongst foreign crew. We suspect they must have got a CATCO appointed there several years ago who was on a successful mission to standardise with international norms.
Knowing very little, this was still amazing lmao
I would have such a hard time keeping my composure with this ATC dude. I have this problem, once I start laughing? I’m done. Take me outta the plane 😂😂
"Maintain radio silence" 😂🤣😅😂🤣😅
This is gold. It’s like you you stuck Lois C.K. in the tower. 😂

He sounds and talks like somone from the "sopranos" lolol, almost expected to hear him say" You're gonna get whacked if you make that turn" lolol
Loving this. 🤣I miss the days of being able to put on the headphones early on the plane and tune to the channel to listen to this kind of conversation... if that is still possible when flying, someone please let me know. Cheers

Tower: uuh, how's Miami? Pilot: Hehe
I get it! Being an ATC is like herding toddlers….I can do that😂😂😂
There are some rude and unhinged, unprofessional AT controllers at the New York City airports. Must be the scabs from the 1980's that got permanent jobs.
Yesterday the pilot declared a Mayday engine fuel depletion… and ATC asked souls on board and fuel level… DUH.!
The Aussie or Kiwi saying “I know” with the opposite tones of American English has provided an excellent example of these dialects might not be mutually intelligible.
Talk about snarky! 😆🤣😂🤪
