Hi Sowmya, Can you please suggest a double door refrigerator between LG and Samsung above 450ltrs. I'm confused between Samsung 465 ltr and LG 423ltr or 475ltr. Please give your opinion

One important point to remember is to never choose a fridge where the buttons are inside the fridge. The electronic board for the buttons or switches easily gets corrupted from defrosted water and the fidge behaves like crazy because the water shorts the electronic board and imitates pressing all the switches simultaneously. This is the worst design especially in LG refrigerators.

One observation that I want to add based on my visit to the physical stores. For the same kind of capacity, Samsung usually is wider than LG but with less depth. This has an impact on daily use. Frequently in our daily use, things that are kept at the deep end of the fridge are forgotten and we keep on accessing the things in the front. A wider fridge is better compared to a deeper fridge in terms of things being easily accessible.

One thing I noticed while choosing a fridge is that those LG convertible fridges which have their module inside the fridge rather than on the outside fridge door will require a person to bend and clear the way inside the fridge to operate the inner module. Plus the module also eats some space inside.
