Dean have you ever saw the mk3 FORD ESCORT XRV VAN CONCEPT th people at ford germany built couple xrv vans xr3i van but didn't see a van scene in Europe in early 80s id a nice van mk3 i had an rs1600i y reg i crashed wrote off by rolling down a hillside during amateur rallying or as they say acting like an arse lol i didn't declare too insurance as was high enough my post code so 1st i tried and couldn't get a 2 door body for love or money at time but fell upon a mint mk3 1.3 petrol van i swapped the guts interior kit off rs1600i onto van got graphics for bonnet sides etc saying rs1600v used wiring loom anything could be changed over from car too van was changed used lowering blocks on back lower front springs 15inch RS 7 spokes van was finished first time in moonstone blue looked nice but paintjob was bad after year decided respray so had it to rs1600s colour Stratos silver with black decals left it that way sold it 23 yrs ago minus RS16 seats put RS turbo seats in kept rs 1600 interior its plastic wrapped in loft for right car lol I've hoard up loft nosecones etc think all s ford fiends do it lol shame about steering wheel warning to others if clip off wheel throw under seat at nights or parked or in boot i used to unbolt my RS 4 spoke 14inch steering wheel and take it with me also had hoop welded on floor to lock clutch with padlock as fords always to easy to steal open most using hairdressers scissors but all cars are at risk nowadays i prefer old school no g.p.s i can strip and rebuild myself with a Haynes manual new cars have 10yr life then scrap buy classic ford get classic benefits no tax no mot yearly(depending on age ) and cheap insurance with agreed value no electric for me ho ho he he lol FOSSILFUELS RULE SUPPORT DONT STOP OIL AND RUN OVER CRUSTIES IN ROAD LOL

yer i think he did pretty well considering the wheel was throwing him being upside down. his wheel had all the blue tooth buttons on so not going to be a cheap replacement. plus its useless to who ever nicked it as the control box is still in the car..

yer i had to go back and take another look. i didnt see the boost pipe running out the bottom of the charger. and was comparing it to my old M45 blower that had the inlet and outlet on the same side. really cool car and set up tho.
