That Torqeedo is worth a lil more then 2k on its own

I mounted a watersnake t24 trolling motor to the bow of my old town topwater 120 and works like a charm.

Need to add the Viking line up there.

My crescent shoalie SF is perfect should check them out sometime!

You should have said freshwater kayak because that would possibly kill somebody or put them in a serious situation where i fish in the ocean

Agreed, there are some scenarios on bigger water that more precaution needs to be taken. We have many customers who user their bigger fishing kayaks on the ocean, but they are diligent about how they do so and the safety measures they abide by each trip. Do your research and be safe!

seems little steep for the price, looks like a hull with custom mods , you can build it cheaper , and it would be fun 😈 but very nice setup!

I think I’m gonna buy a used jon boat and trailer build a platform in it, bow mount trolling motor. I can’t sit and fish. I can take $5,500 and build a pretty decent rig that I can fish anywhere.

For $5,500 you can definitely buy one of the best fishing kayaks on the market, load it with whatever electronics or trolling motor you want and still be able to stand up. Any kayak in that price range is going to be beyond stable and have elevated seats.

Same here. I thought it would be nice stroll around on an old town with trolling motor but after two days...I went right back to my flats boat. The amount of time and effort to stroll that kayak out to the end of the dock...load up the battery...the trolling motor...the rods, cooler, and all that equipment down a ladder just to have to unload it all again and pull back up on my dock and take back into the garage. Huge pain. Easier to just step onto the flats boat and lower the lift. Not knocking anyone who just wants to get out on the water and fish for cheap but sitting down fishing in a kayak is a lot more work than the youtube life makes it look. Took the fun out of fishing for me and became more of a pain than anything else.

Good Lord that's a lot of money ! Think I'll just keep my little Heritage Angler 10 ft and I'll make a motor mount myself. Already built stabilizers on it and it's great now!

There are different budgets and different setups for every type of angler. That is the beauty of this sport! You can go as simple, complex or DIY as you want.

$2k for a piece of plastic that doesnt even give you that grear of a fushing experience. Spend a couple grand more and get a boat 👍

Tell us you've never been in a quality fishing kayak without saying you've never been in quality fishing kayak... Kidding aside. Many of our anglers own both. And, many of our customers rave about how the added level of difficulty (more precise on your gear selection, course plotting, and overall fishing skills) in addition to the different areas you can access and the peacefulness of it all creates a far more rich experience than a boat. However, each have their advantages and disadvantages. Most of our customers own both. But, a kayak can get in some really unique places a boat simply cannot and offer an entirely different experience. Thanks for commenting. @@ecofishingshop I may have been a smidge short sided with my comment. Ive been pricing out kayaks and also Pond prowler style plastic boats. Ive been frustrated with the ridiculous pricing. You make some great points and no, ive never been in a high quality fishing kayak. Maybe someday 🤣

Love the back & forth! This is what is fun about this sport, we can give some guff and have fun. Prices have been going up steadily, but so has the quality. The technology and the way kayak companies are honing in on what features anglers really want has really blossomed in the past few years. It is a tough spot as a new kayak angler. We often advise our customers to start small if they aren't sure if they are going to be all in on the sport. You can always upgrade later after you learn more about fishing kayaks (what you like about them, what you don't like, what features you'd really like to have). You can apply what you learn to then get the fishing kayak that matches how and where you like to fish. Or, if you know you are going to like it, you can jump in to a premiere fishing kayak and never need another one. Don't be afraid to ask questions, we are here to answer any even if it is about something we don't currently have. Thanks for the comments!

The Frontier 12 is a ton of fun. What is surprising about it is how easy it is to paddle for how big and stable the kayak is. NuCanoes are a cool platform that you can build however you want and switching from solo to tandem is both easy and fun. Glad to hear you love it!

The peddle system is 1200 dollars.

@@ecofishingshop LM Bass mostly. I like to fish for bluegill and catfish now and then too, but 90% of my fishing is for Large mouth. My Unlimited is the most stable kayak I’ve personally owned. Standing and fishing is pretty easy even for someone with little practice. The tall seats on the NuCanoes are awesome. Cons (for me) would be mostly just that it’s a pretty big kayak and moving it around on my own is a challenge. I load mine to the top of a 4x4 SUV. But once you figure out a system for doing it, then it is not so bad…however, toss in a little wind and it’s a wrestling match! Loading like that also requires I fully break-down my kayak to transport it and that sucks every time. I started on a small Ascend kayak, so this one is a huge improvement.

Can you do under 500 plz it does not have to be the best kayak

How much does it weigh ? Can you get it in any out of a SUV easily ?

80lbs unloaded. It is 12'6" so you'd need a hitch extender if you are putting it in your SUV. It could be slightly difficult to rooftop load it unless you were loading it flat, but it can be done.

So what all comes with it ? 🤔🤔🤔

The NuCanoe Unlimited is a bit of blank canvas to paint however you want. The $1,799 is for the kayak alone in this case. However, it is one of the most stable kayaks on the market - even the most unsure person can stand and walk around in it. And, you can rig it out however you see fit (fishing, recreation & it makes an awesome hunting boat). Always factor accessories/transportation into your budget.

if you can find an old Eagle Talon, those were about 500 and really stable. I have one that i use for ultra shallow areas when i cant take my PDL out

Does it come with the Paddles or motors?

They are add-ons. However, this kayak, despite its size, is easy to paddle and tracks well in the water due to its hull shape. Most anglers start out small with little to no accessories and add them as time goes on and they learn more about how they want to fish and use the kayak.

Best needs to quit being an opinionated word and a factual one

If you’re spending thousands on a kayak with a motor you might be missing the point.

Many of our customers are boat owners as well. They are looking for new ways to fish that can get them to new places. Some enjoy the added challenge of needing to be more precise with how you fish, what gear you bring and the preciseness needed each fishing trip. We have great paddle, pedal and power kayaks to fit everyone's needs. The added motors are critical for our tournament anglers or those who fish bigger water.
