As long as I can see, the saturated fat may become detrimental to our health when consumed _along_ _with_ carbs. It's like a switch, you was getting your energy from carbs, now you'll get it from fats; but trying to keep both is not a good idea. This is so new for me, but I'm not afraid, I'll study more and more while slowly changing my diet... Thank you so much, Dr. Ekberg !

You said that it is okay to eat lots of saturated fats as long as one keeps the carbs down, because then the saturated fats get burned as fuel. While I appreciate the knowledge and the think the keto diet is interesting, I don't see how I can go low carb yet (I love fruits, grains, honey etc too much). If I eat a moderate amount of carbohydrates, how should my fat consumption look? Does it matter if I eat more saturated fats vs mono- vs polyunsaturated fats on a moderate/high carb diet? An answer would be highly appreciated!

Why you are promoting E.V. Olive Oil? It has a small amount of omega-6 which is good but it is full of omega-9? What is your opinion on omega-9?

Sir, Thanks. I have been seeing many videos on 'saturated' fat (bad), and 'unsaturated fat' (good), but not able to see which one makes HDL high and LDL down. Some place it says 'saturated' is good, so confused. Also dark chocolates contains more 'saturated' fat, Kindly clarify. thanks

Saturated fat is very healthy as long as it is from a clean natural source. Even though saturated fat can increase cholesterol, it improves the healthier cholesterol. It is not as simple as HDL vs LDL because there is good and bad LDL. It is more about the size and "fluffiness" of the cholesterol molecule. Saturated fats increase the size and fluffiness of the cholesterol which is a good thing. Check out this video on fats: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJxoqJeho7jbdtY.html

Why is olive oil counted as saturated fat? It seems to be primarily mono unsaturated oleic acid.

Saturated fat (Dr Berg forgot “cured cheese”) must be eaten in the morning because its métabolisation will last the whole day and therefore produce lasting energy…

Thank You Tina V. You're right it does get confusing. We can't over analyze things either though. The most important thing is to eat real food and support the body in every way we can. Eat better, move better, feel/think better (meditate). In this modern world we can never avoid toxins completely. The best we can do is avoid what we know and strengthen the body so it can eliminate the junk. Also we have to stop worrying. we do our best and then we relax. 😄
