Best Fast Food Biscuits -- Bless Your Rank

Комедия

Matt tastes widely available fast food biscuits and tells you what he thinks. See where he weighs in on when it comes to McDonald's, Hardee's, Krystals, Chick-Fil-A, Burger King, Whataburger and Bojangles. Editor's note: we left out the third rule: The restaurant has to be open for breakfast.

I worked at Bojangles and they make their biscuits from scratch a number of times a day. But it does vary. The best Bojangles biscuit I've ever had was made by a guy named Bird. It was pure happiness when I came into work and Bird was making biscuits that shift. The overall quality from store to store is pretty good, but man he had a special touch. Please let me pause to reminisce...

The locals liked the grits, I sure did. Now I live in a senor home in Tallahassee, Florida. the dining room sometimes have biscuits for breakfast. He might rank them about 4th down. But they *are* biscuits. I find a little salt on each half does wonders for me.

Smart. Only subpar biscuits I've ever gotten from them were because I came by late in the day and the biscuits were old. And an old Bo's biscuit is STILL better than everything he rated fresh out of the oven except for Hardee's.

I love Bojangle's country ham biscuits. The ham seasons the biscuit so well. I'll get a couple of ham biscuits and eat the rest later. I microwave the whole biscuit for 30-45 seconds until warmed through. Then I remove the warm ham and pop the biscuit into my toaster oven and toast until it's crisped up, usually 3-4 minutes, depending on how brown the biscuit was to start with. If you want a really crispy biscuit, toast both halves separately straight on the wire rack so all sides get toasty.
