A very nice review, I have been looking for info from field users of this knife. I have stayed away from this brand until now. I have come across several reviews and they regard this knife as being very good. Take care

Nice to see another Falkniven product. I've been a fan of their classic stuff for a long time, but love how they keep tweaking and updating their product line.

Fyi, you can fix the rattle by putting one or two strips of Gorilla tape at just the right points on the interior of the sheath (up near the top).

How has this been over time? Was there any pitting or tearing under the area of your first finger of the TF2? Do the grooves of the TF2 tend to gather dirt and gunk? Thanks!

Fallkniven needs to discover micarta or something.

No, they don’t, thankfully they’re making one of the best handles on the market exactly because they make them out of polymer materials. Also if someone is really in a desire to ruin the whole concept of these beautiful knives - you can always make a micarta/g10 handle with your own hands - it is pretty simple to converse a wrap around full tang handle into a cheap two-scales snap on handle, while on the other hand it is practically impossible to make a normal polymer wrap around the tang handle in house.

They have already. The F1L is available in a couple of different micarta handles

I guess if they're selling. Screams China to me. You're right though, it does allow machines to pump them out faster and it's alot cheaper.
