Thanks, John! Your skill, explanations and patience could have saved me years in trying to pass high school and college math courses 😊. For ANY student watching this…it’s the easiest and most straight forward algebra ed you’ll probably ever get. Don’t be ashamed to go back over your basic adding/subtracting/multiplying and dividing refreshers if you get stuck. This WILL serve you in the future, even if it’s hard to believe right now.

I would donate but I'm 73 on SS since I was 62. So I do not get 100% SS. Thank you for your comment. I agree with you, and as he said cell phones can be distracting.
I'm 54 years old and I am so glad that this type of learning is available, because I was the guy who was distracted by the 80's version of the cell phone 😆. Thank you for your time and effort!
Fabulous summary of an aspect of algebra that I appear to have forgotten. Thanks for posting this!
Working on an Associate Degree and its been decades since I had to do math like this. Im taking a remedial math class in college, but the instructor had me super confused. Thank you for your awesome videos!
Thank you very much! ... I was never taught this "hack" in my Algebra courses. But now that I know, it'll make factoring much easier and with much more certainty. 👍
Why did my maths teacher not tell me about this technique in the 1960’s? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍 from 🇦🇺
Thank you part one and two were truly crucial for me to learn Factoring these trinomials.
Great video, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
Really GREAT! Thank you for reminding me of this.
Thank you professor this was very helpful🙏

IMHO this is definitely one of the better vids.
Good job. Keep up.
Can you give us some sample problems to practice? Thanks for sharing this helpful video
The example polynomial used for case 2 at start of video ( 3y power2 + 8y +11) is not solvable using the method that follows in this video. This could cause confusion. No real solution, but can be done using complex no.s
Thank you, thank you.
It’s funny that every time I heard him say “problems” I thought he was saying “proms.”
Since the last term is positive, both signs will be the same and will be the same as the middle term so no need to consider the negative factors in this question, which will halve your options.

Agreed. I wasn’t taught to factor this way (a/c method ) and I did not teach it until my last few years of teaching. I like the guess and check method, but this a/c method makes factoring trinomials with large coefficients easier.
Thank you
you are the best thanks so much
Thanks you.
Thank you for your videos. I was wondering why aren't there any harder problems used as an example? I've tried to use these techniques on the harder problems but I get confused.
This work if coefficient of y is one of these values (25, 14, 11, 10, -10, -11, -14 or -25). How we solve it if coeffient.of y is not one of the horse value?
Thank you sir
What do you know? I'm better at solving for "x" at the end than I am at factoring. I stumbled with the "group factoring" part. But I'll get there! :) Practice, practice.
Thanks Po Sir ♥️♥️♥️,God bless Po.
5:10 x^2 - 5x + 10 cannot be factored? how do you factor it when there are no two numbers which in sum make -5 and in multiplication make 10?
Nicely done. Good to see several examples completed. You might leave a problem or two for the student to try on their own. Maybe you leave just the answers so they can verify the problem was completed correctly. Thanks.
Thank you for that. Before cell phones and computers we looked out the window at snow or sunshine, or simply cut class, for some healthy distraction.
Bro I'm really trying to learn this but you changed up the equation on both the two examples I took notes compared side to side rewind the video several times can you help me figure this out
Can this be done in reverse example 5+3=8 therefore 8-3=5 and 5-8=3 prof
(3x+4)(x+2) in less than 1 minute
I this is a edwards keep >it on thanks you.
Ans. (Y+2)(3y+4)
Brilliant - Why did no-one show me this at school???Thanks.

He's probably got Me in mind. I 'm a codger, takes time 2 sink in. SLOW & steady isn't so bad.
👏👏
Love the mohawk😂
I did it this in 1 minute
I think one should go through the extra step in part 1..[i.e ×^2-7×+2×-14=×(×-7)+2(×-7)] bc why not? tick perfect math?
Don't even have to remember difference of squares. Did it by your method.
Your intro was way too long. Just get to it. 6 minutes?
I will just use the quadratic equation. At first glance the last term is +8 and middle term is +10. If i use -4 and -2 to get positive 8, then the middle term will be negative. For this problem i have no choice but use the quadratic equation.
Wastes 3:40 blubbering before addresses anything about the problem.

I'm no Math guy; but, I might "double check-then triple check" (moot point).
....the intro should be factored down.

The irony
I think you should focus on the problem.or subject you're teaching
Haven’t heard from you yet…
He could've just explained which technique he was using and solved the problem, then attach a second video should some need to review the Factoring techniques.
Yes, it's just viata formula 😑
Yourvvideos are good Except- Too much babble!!! Always have to zoom across almost to the end to get to info needed.
I know why you do it, but I can't stand your long introduction. Half the video is taken up by the same opening statement. Ironically, I am complaining because I just want to get to the meat of your great videos.

idk how you just happily do impossible math with imaginary numbers.
Too much talking! Get down to it!!
Why you talk a lot instead of dealing with the numbers?
