Acids are great for your skin but you are totally right: you can easily overdo them. I learned that the hard way as way.

Hi Sue, I am 55 and have combination and very senitive skin and am looking for a good exfoliator which isn't too expensive and I live in Ireland. In general I have very good skin only face with no it little spots. However, as I intend to wear a little more make-up I will need to exfoliate a bit more. Currently I have very big pores in my nose. Please could you give me some advise. I would prefer peels as I find it a bit awkward to wash it off afterwards as I am disabled. Many thanks and Happy New Year 2023

Hi Annette. Happy new year to you too! I would try the Pixi glycolic exfoliating pads. No need to rinse off. Just use one of the pads about twice a week after cleansing (they are quite strong.) They contain 20% glycolic acid which is a great exfoliant. Best wishes x
