Never tried the Moza R9, But I do own an Alpha Mini. I do run a Simucube Pro atm. Obviously the Pro is head and shoulders above the mini, but thats not to say how much I enjoyed my time with the Alpha. Would take it over the Moza based on it's mounting options alone. I have been Beta testing some new software from Simagic, that when released will improve this base even more. These DD bases are only as good as there software. Simucube is proof of that.

I find the swtich very conveninet! It's mounted on the side of my rig with a 3d printed support! Can reach it very easible and super accessible! love your reviews!

Alpha mini is great. If You have budget for 15nm then You wont need another for years :)

Did you use 39% Mechanical Damper setting?

Do you recommend alpha mini or R12? They are essentially the same price. Thank you

Id go with mini.

Why would you set it up to clip? Turn the Mini to full Nm and then dial down the Nm in the sim to what tou want obviously not more than maximum.

Okay great. What did you mean by it's not as agile or quick as other top end bases? Is that due to less Nm not creating as powerful of a response? Lastly, did you say you that race if so what do you race in?@@simracingenthusiastreviews

Mini is far better than r12 not r9.

Feels like that though I cant find exact data of their slew rates.

Nice video as always. Here in my region, the alpha 15 is about 40% more expensive than the Mini (mini is R$ 5000 and the alpha 15 is R$ 7000) Which one should I get? Is the extra money on the alpha 15 worth it?

I can pnly tell you the advantages - more NM but also a bit better acceleration - dont know the exact slew rate but the stronger the base the better the slew rate. And You would also buy yourself time with no need to change it. For me Alpha was a great sweet spot, while mini was good but not powerful enough for me. If money is not that big od a issue Id go for the stronger one.

@@cemi_8945I lived on a g29 for sooo long… had to save and work extra but finally got an alpha mini with GTS wheel. I got some used fanatec pedals for cheap luckily. Next is saving up for a gt pro wheel at almost the same as alpha mini 680 euros

Just got my first dd wheel, a Simagic Alpha. 15 Nm at 100% is absurdly strong (undriveable) in most games but one of the standout realizations is that the feel of the ffb from one car or one sim to another varies quite significantly. I feel like I’ve invested in a ffb setting simulator rather than a driving rig. On the other hand, after endless hours of testing I’m starting to get some halfway decent results. Frustrating process though.

I realised that basicly turning off all filters gives You best results. Then the sim takes its part.

🤔 ?? 100% in simagic yes, but not in game.... start at 60% in game and gradually go up (if you can lol) watching the ffb

Why is it so hard for these companies to put a little stop switch on the unit itself?

how come simmagic sends v1 base to reviewers while selling v3 base that has weaker ffb? Since you get different product the review is worthless

Dan Suzuki on his KZread review held it at 13.5nm at the bump stop for 10mins Can you check your ALPHA MINI power supply is it 252w or 216w ?? Supposedly new Mini base has 216 and Dan did hose review recently so he must have same as you and he got 13.5nm That’s why I’m asking what is your POWER supply watts ??

The simagic mini has been measured at 13nm by Iracing staff. Moza r12 is weaker then the simagic mini. Strange your hands can’t feel the strength of difference between the 2.
