Mystic River (2003) I believe that's his best movie. This one is top 3 maybe 2. I should add though. He's not in Mystic River, he directed it. If you want a movie with him in it, my favorite is Pale Rider (1985)

"Unforgiven" from 1992... It also stars Morgan Freeman & Gene Hackman. Great, great movie!
I loved how the narration of the movie wasn't for us but for his daughter you never get to see.
You're not floppy. You're beautiful, silly, goofy & a great movie reacter. You are one of my favorite reactors.
This won pretty much every Oscar going in the major categories. Best picture, best director, best actress, best supporting actor. Clint is an absolute legend
This is the type of movie that stays with you. Most people cry. One of the few boxing movies that feels real.
I don't know any guys who saw this movie and didn't cry... A masterpiece. Btw, watch Unforgiven.

Clint Eastwood not only acted and directed this film, but he also composed the music score you hear for this film too! In fact, he has a hand in composing at least the theme music for most of the films he has directed. The theme music for UNFORGIVEN (Claudia's Theme) was co-composed by Eastwood, as was the theme music for BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY and many others. A multi-talented man he is!

All I know is that this beautiful woman has great empathy for Maggie, she has the most beautiful laughter and heart. 🎭 🥊💥😢
this is going to be a great reaction 🥺😭
I like to think that Frank set Maggie free. He had already saved her spirit once when he helped her reach the top and twice when he fulfilled her wish to pass away.
A perfect film! I was in my 50s when I first watched it and I've never cried harder at a film. I even tear up watching reactions of it here on KZread! If this film doesn't stir your soul and bring forth tears then your already dead inside.
Clint is Director and Actor and a legend
I can honestly say, when I watched this movie for the first time years ago….it is the first movie that has ever made me cry..it is so tragically beautiful
What Frankie did was the ultimate act of love and compassion. He wasn't able to heal her or give his life to save her, so he did the next best thing. When a loved one dies, who really suffers? WE DO. It's a selfish love in a way. We want our loved ones to live forever so we don't have to suffer the pain of losing them. Frankie made the selfless choice. He took away Maggie's suffering and made it his own.

It's complicated, but I think I disagree. If I don't agree with assisted "self deletion", I don't think I could be okay with this, if I'm being logically consistent with my principles. But I guess there is a difference between the situation in the movie, and most assisted "self deletions". Her body wouldn't survive unassisted by the machines.. But I can't say that would sway me into thinking that it was the right choice.

Nonsense. Pure ego to think it's you who loses. Life is potential. Taking that away is a great loss. She was still depressed and couldn't imagine any potential for her future life that way. She was still in mourning. She was not in a stable mindset to make a permanent decision like that, to throw away thirty years of human life saying "zero value hereon forward," She wasn't terminal. She wasn't near the end of her natural lifespan. She had decades ahead of her and she could've adapted and found value again after resolving her mourning. Clint's character was faced with a terribly difficult decision, but he made the wrong decision. It was harder on him to force her to mourn, accept, and adapt. He should've done some tough love and told her to move and find new dreams/goals. But he was overtaken by the emotions of the situation (and he was mourning, too). He couldn't handle the guilt and discomfort of forcing her to do what she needed to do to win this fight, so he threw in the towel (for himself more than her). I am not going to say this decision was the selfish decision, but it certainly wasn't selfless.
He killed her because he loved her, it was the last thing he could do for her. A hard film to watch but worth it. Biss you are beautiful both inside and outside. 🙂

Clint Eastwood is a master in the film industry. He can do it all. I hope you continue to explore his films. After this one, I suspect you might be ready for something much lighter, something to keep you laughing. If I'm right, check out his comedic side in "EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE" (1978). If you'd like to see him alongside Morgan Freeman again in another amazing film, this time in a Western that won 4 Oscars, watch "UNFORGIVEN" (1992). It's a masterpiece of storytelling.

48 minutes in Madalina, and you proved why the "bad guy" is never Romanian. Hunting and haunting the German girl for the rest of her life is such a Romanian curse. Loved the prick o meter too lol
This and Gran Torino are 2 of Eastwood's best in every role he did, in front and behind the camera.
😭😭😭 My suggestion for best Clint Eastwood movie is "Kelly's Heroes". Another movie similar to this one you might like is "Cinderella Man".
Clint Eastwood: A Living Legend
excellent choice for the reaction Miss Bisscute👍👍👍 a great film by Clint Eastwood. Please for future reactions to his films considered: Unforgiven (1992), The Mule and Cry Macho. and with him acting: The good, the bad and the ugly, The Rookie, Firefox and Dirty Harry.
Firefox it is a 1982 American action techno-thriller movie produced, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. It is based upon the 1977 novel of the same name by Craig Thomas
I love that movie. Never want to see it again. Besr Eastwood movie? Unforgiven.
You should watch "In the Line of Fire", even though Clint was famous for his westerns and Dirty Harry series, that was one of my favorites besides this one. This movie took a turn I was never expecting.
Unforgiven and Mystic River are both Eastwood masterpieces. "Unforgiven" works even better once you've seen some of the Westerns he's starred in. That movie serves as a bit of a commentary on his career in Western movies. He doesn't star in Mystic River but he directs it and it's a great movie with a great cast. "Letters from Iwo Jima" is another great movie he directed.

You could watch some of Clint Eastwood's classic Westerns like Unforgiven, Pale Rider, The Good, Bad, and The Ugly, or the iconic police movies, the Dirty Harry series. You might like the first movie he directed, 1971's Play Misty for Me, which he also starred in, or his direction of the 1988 movie about jazz legend, Charlie Parker, titled, Bird.

Unforgiven hands down. I’d also LOVE❤❤❤ to see Space Cowboys. It’s not the greatest movie but it’s a stop down good time for me.
Biss don’t ever apologize for feeling emotions for a movie character. That’s the whole idea for making a movie like this one. We are supposed to get angry at guy that hurt Danger, the dirty fighter that caused Maggie’s paralysis and then anger with her terrible family. Ultimately we cry and we do that because Clint Eastwood wanted us to cry.
Bisscute, I've never seen a movie break you this much 💕
Unforgiven is the best Clint Eastwood movie followed by Million Dollar Baby
Aww Biscuit, Rocky cared about his nose too and looks.. he became world champion.. you could do it! 😎👍
He did the right thing, she wanted to go. Great movie, Clint has made so many great movies, but A Perfect World is criminally underrated.
Your reactions are beautiful - you have such a great heart, emotion and a perfect nose - don’t break it! - you get 5 Stars - Another great boxing film is “Somebody Up There Likes Me” (1956) starring Paul Newman, directed by Robert Wise.
22:50 Hey Bliss, she was taping up her arm/hand because you have to keep your off-hand up in boxing always to protect yourself. It protects your face, so it was mental training technique. This movie when it came out sparked some debates on assisted suici** and how it happened in the movie.
Yeah, i love this movie, too. 'Really love it. I think this is the best thing Clint Eastwood has ever done. I don't know if you saw it, but he also scored this film. The music is his. Clint Eastwood is a musician. He plays piano, and he's a bit of a jazz aficionado. The storyline, the script, and the remarkable acting performances; all are so exceptional. The priest had told Frankie that if he did this thing, he would be lost. His love for Magie was so strong that he was willing to sacrifice himself to stop her suffering. And then he just disappeared. I love that the narration was actually Scrap's letter to Frankie's daughter; to let her know what kind of a man he really was. This is my second favorite movie after ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST. But it's a close second. I'm glad you saw the beauty in it, too.
This movie is so hard to watch. The 2nd half is just taxing- can't swallow, sore throat and shaky chin. The movie was wonderfully produced, you can really feel a genuine bond and connection between them. Maggie was so nice and such a fighter that you feel like reaching through the screen to comfort her. Truly heart-breaking stuff.
Great movie, amazing acting. He did her a kindness. Love your reaction as always!❤️

I knew this one would be a hit... it's a real gut punch too. Puns aside, it's a top tier movie even if you're not into boxing. Speaking of that, I love that maybe a year ago, Biss wasn't enthused about watching a boxing movie (Cinderella Man); now with that, the Rocky movies, and finally Million Dollar Baby, Biss is super excited and fully immersed. Great reaction. Dirty Harry is an old-school classic police action-thriller starring Eastwood in the titular role, and the Man With No Name trilogy (The Good The Bad & The Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars) is an Eastwood classic... Even though it's not a sports movie or Eastwood related, if you love this I bet you'd like Pan's Labyrinth.
