And I'm 53 and have never been able to do it - the older I get, the more I realize that "mature skin" doesn't dramatically change our skin tone, feature size & shape, etc. So many channels for 50+ constantly preach matte neutrals & loads of silly rules. I love channels like this that celebrate makeup without policing everyone's style, and having multigen conversations about beauty here is such a positive thing for me...

I still love something on the lower lash line. I think it adds balance. Beautiful look! I love quite a few of those same products. 💛🌻

I feel the same way with bringing the eyeshadow to the bottom lash line. I feel my eyes are incomplete without it.

Heimish all clean balm is wonderful at removing my makeup. It does have fragrance. But it smells like a spa. Not overwhelming.

I would enjoy a Yes style haul or all your K beauty favorites. ❤

I wish Catrice was more readily available. Ulta used to carry it in store, but not for years around me, at least. I like to purchase new products in person to avoid returns.

I have to skip all lower lash makeup lol, my eyes are just too small, esp in combination with a strong glasses RX. But I have heavy lower lashes, they def offer some definition.

I accidentally didn’t do the lower lash line one day recently, and I realized I don’t hate it!

I like eyeshadow on the lower lash line too. I feel like it blends with my dark circles 😂

I WISH I would do lower lash eyeshadow more! I do feel like it makes my eyes look odd but I love it on you and almost everyone else!

Just got the Catrice palette in the Nude color story on Friday and I’m in love with it. Beautiful shadows and they really didn’t break the bank 🥹🤍

The colorpop fresh kiss glossy lip stain is my go to, they go on so nice and have good staying power and you don’t even feel them on your lips

I always put eyeshadow underneath my eyes! I have hooded eyes, so I'm not working with that much space on my eyelids 😅

I love it I want to try the powder and the bronzer also the primer since it is hydrating it might work with my skin best the the green elf grip primer I have

I own all of those Catrice pallets and they are all really, really good!

Those Catrice lip jams have been in Europe for a while. I feel like they are pretty avegare - not really good but not bad either. But in the wintertime here it's impossible squeeze the product out if you have it on your pocket.

I love the catrice lip liners.

I’m with you girl Lower lash line shadow all the way. I’m exactly the same. Looks like I ran out of the house and didn’t have time to finish my makeup if I don’t. Everyone needs to learn TRENDS DONT MATTER especially if you don’t like the way it looks. What the hell is the actual point if at the end your like..ehh my makeups not making me happy when I look in the mirror. Our makeup is for US to enjoy and make US feel pretty. I’ve got no time to waste doing my makeup and not feeling my prettiest.

Ooo I haven’t tried that one in a little while but I loved it! I think the Uoma one is more dramatic and gives a little more volume. Flower Beauty ends up giving more of a separated look!

I am into lip tints as well. I highly recommend rare beauty lip oils. Initially, it’s hydrating but it dries down to a subtle stain. I love the shade range too.

I think I remember Kelly Gooch saying she couldn't get that Essence tint to blend on her cheeks, that it basically just stays in one stained spot. Stains are my jam, but I have Benetint so I haven't needed to try the Essence myself.

I feel like when I do an eyeshadow look if I don’t dust my lower lash line with eyeshadow or put color in my water liner my look is not complete lol my favorite drugstore eyeshadow palette for the summer is the L.A. Girl foreplay. It’s such great quality and reminds me of the ND bronze palette in a 9 pan.

I avoid black liner across the lower lash line; I keep it to the outer corner. IMO, dark liner closes the eye & can look harsh, especially on mature eyes & I don't want that 😉

Sometimes I still go in with too much! I think it’s because so many cream bronzers are more subtle so I’m used to having to layer them up. 😂💗

its funny. compared to me your lips are relatively pink. mine sometimes look like the color of my skin lol. i dont really wear make up but part of me wants to get those cosmetic tattoos, a lip blush and "powder brows" bc i love my brow shape and thickness, but the are not full,. haha. those IG rabbit holes are intense esp considering i'm between jobs 😆

For me personally, I’ve learned my eye shape and under eyes do not like eyeliner or eyeshadow (even liquid concealer). No matter what brand, how much they claim to be smudge proof or waterproof, I get raccoon eyes and smearing or irritation. I just use a skinny mascara on the bottom lashes and that’s it. I do envy others who can complete the eye looks tho 😅

Even up to mid-range would be helpful. I do love a lot of my $3 ELF eyeshadow brushes, but sometimes I want better (or need better, like foundation brushes). I’ll spend $15 on a great blend jug brush or $20 on a streak-free foundation brush. But I’m not messing with the places where every tiny eyeliner brush with the travel handle is still $25.

What foundation shade would U recommend that is a bit darker than the Bare Minerals Golden Fair??

I feel like the Catrice HD in light beige could be a great option! It’s a little darker but still has that warm undertone! I also love ColourPop Pretty Fresh in Light 45!

I accidentally found out what works for my oily skin .. some products are more expensive high end.. I did not use primer only my cosrx snail 92 cream... Maybelline age perfect concealer (the one with the puff on it) and infallible pressed powder.. fenty powder bronzer.. j cat blush.. and benefits POREfessionals setting spray.... I was doing some window tint in my son's room and the sun was beating down on my I started sweating i worked for over an hour .. I planned to wash my face assuming my makeup would be ruined but it was perfect! Like not even shiny.

Also... mascaras telescopic lift and org telescopic on bottom lashes.. it stayed .. if you need water proof grande lash makes a really good one and essence lash princess waterproof is a cheap amazing one to layer on top of your reg mascara to make it waterproof

I'm 55 and when the rarity cros up I go out with my girlfriends I've always liked winged liner i saw a video that was covering hacked i do my wing now starting from the under eye and do the wing first then fill the rest in with a penliner mostly brown i just thought I throw that out there as it was a game changer xx

My skin felt pretty sensitive afterwards for a few days so I think if you have really sensitive skin it might not be ideal. I know they can use different intensities so they might be able to do a lower setting for sensitive skin but mine was more red/irritated than other people I’ve seen!
