DW9000 does not have interchangeable cams. It has an adjustable cam.

Nice video. I own a Tama speed cobra 310, good pedal just takes a little to much effort for 16ths at 170bpm and up... Looking to upgrade soon!

Dude I have the speed cobra 910’s and same fricking thing. The threshold for me is the song “we hate everyone” by type o negative. It’s about 170 bpm and I can feel myself starting to work to get them going. If I do a faster song like dyers eve by Metallica it’s a damn workout.

@@Nmdixon-cu7vmhere’s the problem. When looking for a db pedal look for 3 things: 1. How many springs are there? Why, you need a spring for EACH major moving part ie., foot plates and drive shaft… if not one spring is going to have to do the work of two! 2. Drive shaft. If the drive shaft has a hinges on both ends you’re already in the hole! That “wiggle” translates into a delay in the transfer of energy required to move it! That plus no spring on the slave pedal =‘s LEFT FOOT LAG and loss of potential speed! 3. Simple eye test… if you don’t see 3 springs on a double pedal don’t buy it, that is if you’re looking to maximize your playing potential. Yes, there are only a few brands that offer this, it’s well worth the effort and cost… in my opinion, that’s just me. And, a true LONG BOARD has no heel plate, regardless of how small. Oh, I’ve been playing heel & toe for 20+ years. I’ve experienced the “left foot lag” had just about every brand out there. Have custom middle pedals form 3 custom builders & play every rudiment w/my feet. And, my most efficient middle pedal has 4 springs, 1 for each foot plate & drive shaft made by Offset.

I have the dw9002 double bass pedal but I had to swap the drive shaft with tricks 5.0 shaft. The original shaft made a clicking noise while recording. But after upgrading the shaft there was zero lag and no clicking noises. Next, I plan on getting a direct drive. But that will take some time since they are so expensive.

I use a TAMA Speed Cobra 910 Double Pedal at the moment, and I have to admit its the best I've ever used. I've used pedals from Pearl and AXIS in the past, but TAMA has been the best so far.

I went with a Yamaha dfp9500c after trying a lot of pedals. The one your foot likes best may not be the one you thought it would be. Don’t count out mid range pedals.

Are you saying number 10 is best for the money or number 1?

I don't think it's either. But he did mention #10 was good for a beginner, so if I were to guess, he would say that it's the worst of the best. But again, I don't think he was rating them best to worst or worst to best. I think he was trying to throw some good pedals in there at different price points.

The best pedal is trick dominator (i own it)

This is the worst list possible. You didn’t name one actual great pedal. DW900 is the closest to good. I’m not even listing good pedals on here because everyone should do there own research to find them. These pedals like this video is a waste of time.
