yeah and having just both case lights on in the room with the overhead lights off, give off a pretty good vibe

That looks a lot better than what you had before and seems like safer lights for the items in the case. I have a couple of those wooden cubes you can get a Walmart etc that I have some stuff and consoles in, and I have these little battery lights in some of them, but the batteries seem to drain fast, when is strange is I hardly used them and seems like even off its draining the batteries so I don't bother using them anymore.

o yeah the classic cube containers, similar to the ikea ones. Yeah the thing with battery lights is you have to remember to turn them off. So I usually always go with the wired option, plus I forgot to add in the video I set the lights up to a smart plug and connected to Alexa so I can turn them on by voice

Sweet, I was looking for a solution for my own IKEA glass cabinet since I have the same problem! I wonder if this is applicable to entertainment centers too...... 🤔

yes this would work great for entertainment centers as well. You could even get strips that change color add more options

I did a quick glance and it looked like you had the small soldiers, that would be cool, I used to have some of those, now they are expensive, wish I kept them

What was the name of the glass cabinet you ordered from IKEA?

It is called DETOLF, I would search on Facebook market place or Craigslist as well because you can sometimes get them cheaper on there

Would look better of you put the lights at the front but only 1 at the top and the bottom and then one left to right, that's the way Im looking to do it

This was certainly a learn as you go process. I also should have made it so the wire came out the bottom to plug it in, but I did the top lol. I'll be re doing them soon in the near future so I will certainly try a few options. Thanks for watching

I UNDERSTAND YOU WANNA SHOW OFF YOUR COLLECTIBLES WITH LIGHTS.. TO ME DOESN'T MATTER WHAT LIGHT YOU USE THEY WILL DISCOLOR AKA SUN FADE.. I LIKE PUTTING MY COLLECTIBLES IN A DARK ROOM WITH NO LIGHTS SO THEY STAY LIKE BRAND NEW OR LIKE MINT HAS THEY ARE.. JUST ME..

Everyone certainly has their own preference. One of my collector friends has black out shades in his living room to block any light coming in so his games won't fade
