I think both moves are really effective and can be used in different situations. The Tim Hardaway UTEP Two-step crossover is good if you have a jumpy and tight defender. The Iverson crossover can be used to move or shift defenders and drive to the opposite side. Also when you lure your defenders to sleep and you do a really effective Iverson crossover, it can be really useful.

Great analysis 👍🏾 I think Hardways worked better on the break. But it was almost too quick bcuz he didn't give his opponent enuff time to break down b4 he was back at the same spot they started.

The killa crossover has more control than AI’s

Iverson's crossover has him nearly carrying the ball at the exact moment he wants to juke out the defender. Hardaway's crossover is so tight and quick with his legs protecting his dribble from the defender. Both did the job.

Both elite crosses, AI has more flair and really sells the move, hardaway's super fast/compact and much safer. I think itd come down to whose defending em and what they're looking for at the time, makin this a crazy tough pick 🤯

Iverson’s is too iconic

Both Crossovers are very effective. With Allen iversons crossover it's easier to deceive your opponent but the ball is exposed. Even tho the ball is exposed he knew how to sell that crossover. Tim Hardaway crossover was a little more difficult and he couldn't sell it as much but its very crafty and has a degree of difficulty. In motion it's amazing and hard to strip and the ball is very low. Both Crossovers are beautiful works of art. 2 nba legends that changed the game🔥🔥🔥

Tim is correct on why his crossover is better. Allen’s crossover is an illegal move that is called a discontinued dribble. When refs wanted to crack down on Iverson they would call it on him every time. They couldn’t do that to Tim because his is perfectly a legit move.

Iverson cross since the defender is mainly looking at your chest and your hips, so your causing the defender to go the opposite side

Honestly both crossovers are good, but Iverson's crossover is risky if you have a defender that sits on the cross they can steal the ball. With Tim Hardaway, the between the legs move alone can be used to shift the defender, since you are attacking the defender at full speed, if the BTL is cutoff then the crossover can be the counter move. Plus Tim can do the move in tighter spaces, where as with AI, you need more and open floor to execute it.

I saw both growing up. Two shape shifters of the crossover. I remember being 6-7 trying to to Tim Hardaway in the garage. Then at 11-12 I’m doing Iverson plus Skip to my Lou on the And1 VHS Tapes😂. Don’t forget about Grant Hill tho, homeboy was NICE with it too.

Tim hardaway has a through the legs making it more protected.

Both are fairly easy but very effective

Both allowed me to drop 20 a game in the street 15 in suited up games because I feared the refs but overall on a break go to tim on a 1on 1 A.i for sure

Iverson palmed the ball though. That's carrying. They even udpated the rule to stop him from doing like that

Jordan was susceptible to a crossover when he tried to play glove defense on players that could handle the ball.

I like Tim's because its smooth and harder to predict consistently. A.I is goated for his handle but it doesn't work as often as it did

I prefer the tim hardaway crossover, just because it's easier to pull off. The Iverson cross needs more than just the technical ability to pull it off, it is the ability to read the defence, sell a convincing fake and move the opposite direction. Tim hardaway crossover starts with a between the legs cross, which help shift the defender much more easily.

Tim Hardaway crossover is harder to do. It takes tremendous ball handling skill while AIs is very easy

Tim , Al’s uses more ball hold it’s not as smooth

Iverson crossover was to high on the dribble, a defensive specialist like pippen would of reached and stole the ball, Tim crossover had a low dribble and it was much faster

AI baits the defender in more but illegal Tim only works on a defender playing tighter defense

Tim Hardaway all day because nobody can really do Iverson's crossover because he was palming, sometimes carrying, and flat out the fastest guy The NBA had seen at that point so anything he did would be trouble for defense. Nobody is out here doing the Iverson crossover making people fall or putting it on dribbling highlights because it was him, not the move. Tim Hardaway crossover was actual skill and still effective even after he lost his speed. A between the leg dribble with a shoulder dip gets defenders leaning and you don't have to over sell it and then just cross the ball over to the other hand has worked for me 99% of the times.
