Turn off the single best implementation of haptics and adaptive triggers that I’ve felt so far on the PS5? No thanks. I can’t go back from adaptive triggers now, feeling the tension, then the little pop as it gives. I feel a disconnect when firing a gun in a video game without adaptive triggers now, it just feels flat. And the haptics are a work of art. The scrape of the bolt action, the kick of the heavy wooden finished rifles, the low rumble and judder of the vehicles. If you have a PS5 and you turn all this off, you’re really missing out. Unless maybe you’re playing the game as a competitive e-sport, rather than an immersive WW2 experience.

@@Sec0ndCumming it’s literally designed for FPS games, FPS games are the most obvious place to implement adaptive triggers... because first person shooters are games based around the pulling of a trigger, one with resistance

@Goosiest It is insane! I have an Elite Series 2 so I can adjust it, but at the default vibration strength, it felt like the vibration was so strong that my controller was going to rattle apart.

The vibrations aren’t even that strong to distract your aim like the old DS4 did. The haptic feed back is done pretty well in this game, especially when In a tank.

The is for posting this. I didn’t know what dead zone was. I was having trouble getting on target quick enough.

NEVER and I mean NEVER turn off vibration and adaptive triggers. They are what this game is all about! Immersive experience is very important and when you shoot different weapons you you get different feeling that’s when you know! Besides that other settings are fine. Yet I put other players tags visibility to 35% and put 250 m. It pisses me off when all them dots around. And remember this NOT CoD! You run forward and die. It’s about communication and strategy! I find many games where people just don’t speak. And it’s a must!

I couldn’t agree more, I winced so hard when he said that. They are implemented so well, the game feels “flat” or “dead” when you turn it all off, like you feel really removed from the experience

@@helmetcheese With no control customization, I would never buy a game like this. Is good game. And pc, it's controls is op and in real life, when you factor is fatigue, weight of gun, you would never be able to aim as good as you can with a mouse. So the traditional controller does give it that realistic factor.

Where are the cobtrol customization. Mapping our own controls is mandatory. And damn the L1 R1 for aim and fire. Unless it's a single player game -- it effects aiming while trying to use the triggers. The R1 for steady aim is in a horrible place. Who was the fool who thought up theze controls?

hmm what is with the acceleration of the sights? its a new option i think .. not sure.. if i turn down its to slow but its hard to find the sweetspot between sensivity AND acceleration

To me it is one of the most frustrating things when games go from pc -> console and the aim assist is just slow down when enemy is near. There is so more nuance and probably why cod still has success year after year, they nailed it ages ago. A bad implementation feels like fighting my own controls.

I just recently got the ps5. I usually aim and shoot with my front bumpers instead of the back. So I guess I don’t really need the adaptive trigger feature even though I do like how it feels. I’m just too used to how I usually play.

I did the same thing on PS4 I can't bring myself to change the controls on the PS5 though. They feel SOOOO good

On Xbox I do Layout C and switch B with right stick push in accessibility settings. Allowing right stick crouch/laydown and B button melee.

i had to change it in games on console over the years because i kept accidentally clicking down on my right stick and ducking down during a fire fight lol i was gettin killed too much, so i made it to where clicking down on right stick does nothing at all and some other button does melee and crouch. helped me out a lot. i guess i just press my sticks too hard during an enemy confrontation and it was causing me to duck or melee when i didnt want to.

Does anyone know how to fix the safe area on the in games setting? I can’t see the hud when I get in a match

Dead zone should be zero always. Unless you feel a drift. Then it should be the lowest you can have it without drift. Edit: also, no haptics and vibrate? Man suck the soul out of the game.

I keep hearing that about deadzone. Honestly I wasn't even really sure what that meant. I'm guessing that's why it felt so hard for me to get on target during long distance shots

all i do is click the R1 shoulder button to hold breath, i dont have to hold the button down, u just click it once and it zooms a little and steadies. it's worked fine for me personally so far. but maybe binding it to click down the R stick would be better.

How about auto sprint option on controller ? Since majority of the game is just running and walking milion miles each match

Most immersive part of this game is driving a supply truck. Every time you put your map away you have to press R2 again, like releasing gas during gear shift. 😂 My finger is turning into the Hulk.

@@Reapstep casuals won’t get it. Lol I know how much adaptive triggers and vibration becomes a big liability and adaptive triggers makes it feel impossible to do good on COD.

They are likely saved on their side, and every disconnect clears the cache? That’s all that makes sense to me, should be fixed soon

I know how to aim, but how do you slow your breath and zoom in further ? Ive tried pressing on both right and left stick but it only makes me peek.

Hold down r1 while aiming. It only works when your soldier catches his breath

i usally never see any of the enemy players in this game...i only get shot by them...

Why cant i find it in the ps4 store tho

Does anyone know how to peer over low walls with gun? I don't want to have to stand there telegraphing my position. Love this game regardless though, having so much fun with it.

If you crouch behind a wall or low cover I think that when you ADS it will peek over the cover. Not 100% on that though

I agree with almost everything in this video except for turning off vibration and trigger effect. It must be pretty sad to spend a whole bunch of cash on a PS5 and not even use the one main feature that sets it apart from other platforms. If you care so much about being competitive, you're better off just playing on PC instead IMO. The only reason this stuff should be turned off is if you have a physical disability that stops you from being able to play the game with it turned on.

The game should have gyro aiming too... It is amazing feature that is possible on ps4 and ps5 but most players just think it is a gimmick even tho it is 10x better at aiming that sticks

i understand what u mean but i turn it off in competitive games, it gets in the way. some games have good feedback/virbation and its almost *not* good to turn it off as the vibration can help u understand the recoil going on. but i leave it ON in single player and co op games.. i turn it OFF in almost every competitive game. i keep in mind people use modded controllers, be them legit or not, and analog stick extenders and all that. so if tney can use all that (which i dont wanna use) to improve their gameplay, i can turn off vibration to help mine figure.

Does anybody else have an issue with the dualsense Mic picking up stick movements and button presses? I have changed the lowered the sensitivity on the Mike in the game and on the console settings and tried 2 different controllers but it is still the same. It only started happening about 3 days ago, but now I have to keep it on mute most of the time and unmute it when I want to talk.

Yeah, for some reasons settings always revert to default when I start the game. Just a minor annoyance but I’m sure it will be fixed with future updates. The developers have a nice roadmap set up for the future and it looks promising, hopefully things will get some final polish.

The adaptive trigger always turns back on for me, its so annoyimg

Play officer and use your binouckar to aim. Then switch to your gun and shoot. It's perfect accuracy every time

why is the sens. so slow ? i play 100% and its still to slow

Anyone encounter drift when setting the look deadzone to 4%? My gun slowly lowers until it’s pointing at the ground. Baffled by this - any advice most appreciated!

Stick drift. You’ll have to up your deadzone slightly to stop it.

It means your stick is drifting. Most games have slight deadzones so you won't notice it normally.

Can someone give new sensitivity for Controller sensitivity x-axis Y axis Ads x Ads y Scoop Acceleration x (no idea what this is) Acceleration y (I have no I idea what this is)

The Aimsettings in this game need some serious work! Not even an option to turn this terrible aim assist off?! They rly should take a look at insurgency or even hunt showdown how to imply good controller aim without aa.

I love how he does best setting Video on a game like this maybe Apex or Fortnite but this game it’s too realistic

After trying it for one week as new player i have 0 kills inevery Single battle! Its imposdible to put the aim on someone because he did much much much faster on u

PC and Console lobbies are separate. You won't ever be playing against someone with MnK on PC.

As far as I know it's on ps5 and Xbox series X because they have a crossplay option

You will not play against any PC players while on console. HLL cross play is only PS5 / Xbox.

Console does not support keyboard and mouse which is frustrating . I use key word and mouse with my xbox s . HLL currently does not support key board and mouse feature . I hope they change this soon.

Mine too had terrible stick drift. But then suddenly, it just fixed itself. I have no idea how. It just magically had no drift from that point on.

They finally let you turn aim assist off which was needed for a game like this. You dont need aim assist. And we dont play cross play with pc anyways. Only consoles

1:32 must have some really loose thumbsticks for them to move around with the adaptive triggers and haptics or you just have really weak thumbs lmfao

Most of this is wrong. You need to change to control 3, so you can actually use the steady aim feature with L3, make the movement deadzone huge, so you don’t knock yourself out of the hold breath animation. It makes no odds, you push the stick all the way forward to run, and you can still walk if you need to, use R1 and L1 to lean, and obviously have it on toggle, if you have PS5 DO NOT turn off the incredible haptics and adaptive triggers,

@@triipppzzz this game is a military simulation, it not cod, it not a competitive shooter, its a strategic and realism world war 2 game where every move needs to be communicated with your squad and team. Dont play it like its warzone you want get the immersion the game is made for.

Hell let loose is not on ps4.....

Can't use L1 & R1 for aim and fire. I can't play this game without that option. The triggers are bad. The lack of controller customization, while the pc has superior controllers makes me question -- they don't give a damn for the consoles. Is a great game. Horrible controls for consoles. And R1 is steady aim, while R2 is fire? Who's the wise guy that come up with this? Let us map our own controls-- it is mandatory for today's standards. Wow.

You can change both the L2 R2 to R1 and L1 in options, and you can change hold breath to L3 But if on PS5 you’re mental for killing this incredible adaptive triggers

Bs, this game needs M&K support on consoles, otherwise it will die. They should learn from CoD and improve their aim assist. CoD is the best example for how its done. You have so many long range encounters in this game, its hilarious with conteoller/with the way aim works in this game. Btw, iam a hardcore Pc gamer and console player aswell. I played 8 matches on PS5 and my average kills per game is 28. average! The same goes for PC, when i play on my gaming pc iam always on top, i know how to play these games. This game absolutely needs M&K support on consoles

You can’t play against someone on PC

first of the video, he talks about pc players having better controls via mouse, which can be true. i alleviate that by just turning cross play off. i honestly dont wanna play against xbox or pc people but especially pc people. not because they're "better" but because there's less chance for cheaters to be present, for one, and less chance someone's using a modded setup or a mouse, etc. many games now, if u turn cross play off? u find NO one to play with. which is bs. i think it's purposely set up that way in many games, to where your server list wont be populated unless cross play is on (battlefield 2042 is perfect example, u cant tell me that NO playstation people still play that game, of course they do, thousands, but it wont populate games for u unless crossplay is on and that ruins the entire game for me). in that case, i dont play that game any more, and if the game is dead anyway without many PS players? i also dont play and just delete the game. i bought a PS5 to play with other PS owners who also use controllers, devs need to understand that! also the aim/look sensitivity in hell let loose is wonky. it never feels like u get per pixel accuracy, so i hope the settings in the video can help me. didnt know about the aim assist feature how it slows down when a hidden enemy is nearby lol thats kinda cheap.. but im gonna try it to see lol. but aim assist, i think, should never be in online gaming, only co op or single player modes.
