Best Casting Resin Review || FastCast vs Smooth-Cast 300
In this video we test & review two casting resins. One is the best known name brand, Smooth-Cast 300 by Smooth-on, the other is FastCast by Casting Craft (which is $15 less expensive). Sure it's cheaper, but is the quality as good?

Will either of these resins be translucent if it was thin enough? Looking to make something that a candle can shine through

i have been watching alot of vids on how resin is toxic and dangerous to use... Just how safe is SMOOTHCAST 66 D ?
Guess they upped the price. The cheapest I can find FastCast is at $25 for the 32oz VS $28 for Smooth-Cast300's 16oz bottles. (Smooth-Cast advertises per bottle so the amount doubles)
Can I make a clear colour part ?
Just curious, why is the one product called Fast Cast? Does it have a shorter drying time? It looked like it took the same amount of time.

That's a great question. They both have the same drying time, setting in about 10 minutes, so they're both pretty darn fast, lol.
We’re by comparison any of the two more flexible than the other?
Can you rotocast with fast cast?
The urethane resins are sooooo sensitive, I get bubbles even with a vacuum chamber I totally regret my decision of buying smooth-on resins but great video though you should do it with other type brands :)
