One of my friends did a trick to me in 2008, and I was annoyed at the fact that they wouldn't tell me how it's done. So, I came on KZread and searched "best card trick in the world", and found this video. I wanted to one up him, so, I watched this video multiple times, and kept trying to mimic everything done here. I thought the problem lied with in the deck of cards I was using, so, I made a purchase for Rider Back cards online, since they aren't sold here (we have League Back), and still nothing. But, that started my addiction into card collecting, and now I have over 300 different decks of playing cards, so, thanks for indirectly impacting that, haha! Once I learnt how to perform this trick, I never stopped practising, and now this has been an amazing hobby of mine for over 12 years, and it's a great way to impress and be the coolest person in the room!

For those who need a walkthrough, here's how he does it: *SPOILERS* Before the trick, he stacks the deck so that the bottom 2 cards are 5 of spades red back 5 of spades blue back I'll show it like this: 🔴5♠️ 🔵5♠️ He spreads the cards out on the table and picks a random card. This time it was the 8 of diamonds red back (🔴8♦️). Then he "shuffles" the deck. But watch closely. The bottom cards are 🔴5♠️ and 🔵5♠️, and they both stay at the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand. He makes a pile in his LEFT hand. The 🔴8♦️ goes on the top of the stack in his LEFT hand, and the stack in his RIGHT hand has the two cards at the bottom (🔴5♠️ and 🔵5♠️). He puts the RIGHT hand stack on the LEFT hand stack. Now somewhere in the middle of the deck these three cards are together. The 🔴5♠️ is on top of the 🔵5♠️, and the 🔵5♠️ is on top of the 🔴8♦️. Like this: 🔴5♠️ 🔵5♠️ 🔴8♦️ Now he spreads out the cards and finds the 🔵5♠️. He pushes the deck into two stacks. The RIGHT stack has 🔴5♠️ at the bottom, and the LEFT stack has 🔵5♠️ at the top, with 🔴8♦️ underneath it. Then he puts the RIGHT stack (with 🔴5♠️ at the bottom) under the LEFT one (with 🔵5♠️ on the top). He picks up the deck and turns over TWO cards. It's sneaky because he makes it look like he's only flipping one, but he flips both, showing you the 🔴8♦️. Then he turns them both back and pushes the 🔵5♠️ off of the top of the deck. Now we have: 🔵5♠️ on its own 🔴8♦️ on the top 🔴5♠️ on the bottom He "shuffles" again, but keeps the 🔴5♠️ at the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand. Whenever you say stop he shows you the bottom of the stack in his RIGHT hand and you see the 🔴5♠️. Then he shuffles the deck for real and spreads out the cards. 🔴5♠️ and 🔴8♦️ are somewhere in the deck, but you can't see them. Then he shows you the 🔵5♠️ as the reveal
@jeffreyandia51798 жыл бұрын
1:04 you got the trick there. The 5 of spades is the blue card and it's kinda attached to any card you pick. Then he does it again and puts a RED 5 of spades at the bottom, he manages to make you pick that card and finishes the trick with the last move.

I see some comments trying to explain that don't do a great job so I will try to shine some light. the deck its pre stacked on the bottom. The very bottom card is a blue 5 of spades, the card second most to the bottom is a red 5 of spades. Audience picks a random card, he then does a hindu shuffle to have their card put into the middle of the deck. When the deck is placed back together the blue 5 is placed directly on top of the audience members card. after rifling through the deck to find the blue card he separates the cards into two piles. The top pile which then gets cut to the bottom of the deck, and the bottom pile which has the blue 5 now on top. (remember the audience members card is directly under the blue 5) He makes a double lift to revile the audience members card as if it were the blue card (although he has 2 cards in his hand) replaces those cards to the top of the deck and takes the blue 5 card off of the deck and places it to the side (the audience thinks the blue card it theirs). Then he performs a hindu force. very simple he just tricks the audience member into thinking he is selecting a random car, when really the RED 5 of spades is on the bottom, he simply shows them the bottom card (again, being the red 5). shuffles back the deck and cannot find the players card, he flips the blue 5 that has been placed to the side. Hope this helped anyone wondering.

Very simple illusion, hardly the best card trick in the world, although its an easy entertainer for those just beginning magic. For those who don't want to know how its done do not read any further. ****************************** The blue 5 of spades is pre-placed at the bottom of the deck. The red 5 of spades is placed in the second last position in the deck. He then asks you to pick any card, it doesn't matter which one you choose, and reveals it. He then strips cards from the top of the deck so the last 2 cards never change position. Wherever you say stop he will put your card, and then the rest of the deck on top so the blue 5 of spades will be immediately on top of your card. When he fans out the cards, he see's the blue card and splits the deck there. The card on top of the blue one (the red 5 of spades) will now be at the bottom of the first pile, whilst the blue card will be at the top of the second pile, with your card directly underneath. He then puts the second pile on top of the first, making the red 5 of spades the bottom card. The magician then performs a double lift (lifting 2 cards instead of one) giving you the impression you're seeing the blue card, but really you're seeing the face of the card underneath it. He then places the two cards back on top of the deck and discards the blue 5 of spades to the side. He then begins to strip cards from the top again, meaning the bottom card never changes position. Wherever you say stop he will show you the bottom card, meaning you will always see the 5 of spades. The rest is showmanship until he decides to flip the blue card giving you the impression its the same card you saw earlier, even though its been on the table the whole time. ********************************* Simple when you know how really. The only two skills you'll need is how to fan the cards on a table (so the trick looks pretty), and how to perform a double lift - two incredibly useful skills, and a great trick to learn for newcomers to magic. There's plenty of tricks you can look up online that use the double lift and learning just that one move will mean you can do this, along with 30 or 40 other really simple tricks with just a week of practicing your performance.

I feel very bad for revealing how it works, but this video is 9 years old and has surprised everyone, How he does it is the deck has been altered with, the bottom card is a blue card(5 of spades) and the card above the blue card, second bottom card, is a red 5 of spades. From then on he shows the card on the table, but notice that he doesn't show the first few cards, because he wants t hide the blue card. The spectator then picks a card, it doesn't matter what it is. He then squares the deck up and, what he does next when he tells you to tell him when to stop is that he lifts the bottom half of the deck and peels of the top card so the 2 bottom cards are not effected at all. He then tells the spectator to place the card on top and he places the rest of the cards on top. Which makes the chosen card below the blue card. He then spreads the cards again and now the spectator can actually see the blue card. He picks the all the cards under the blue card and does a double life showing the spectator's card and now the blue card itself. He then puts the other half of the deck under then cards, what that does is it puts the red 5 of spades at the bottom of the deck. He then puts the other half on top of the deck. He then does the same trick again where he tells you to tell him when to stop peeling the deck, but it doesn't matter because he will show the bottom card which will be the 5 of spades, basically controlling which card you pick. Then he spreads the card again and says there is no blue card except the one he placed down earlier which is the 5 of spades :) (that was originally at the bottom of the deck)

Dude, this trick is so simple yet perfect. People who don't know about magic tricks will be freaked out, but in reality it's so simple it took me 5 minutes to figure out since i'm kinda new to the magic trick thing. I love it.
@fanaticentertainment42707 жыл бұрын
Ok so here's how he did it. Basically he began the trick with a BLUE 5 of spades at the bottom of the deck and a RED 5 of spades just above that. Then he let you pick a card, in this case the 8 of diamonds, and he took the bottom of the deck and put it ON TOP of your card, putting your card BENEATH the blue 5 of spades. So he does the whole "Hezbollah" thing Then, he performed a double lift, which means he picked up two cards instead of one. This made the 8 of diamonds appear to be blue. When in reality the blue card is really the 5 of spades. Now he sets the blue card aside, and while you thought it was 8 of diamonds it really wasn't. Now, keep in mind he still has the red 5 of spades at the bottom of the deck. So he performs a Hindu shuffle, which basically means no matter where he stops you will always pick the bottom card. So he shows you your new card, which is the 5 of spades. Then he puts it back into the deck, says Hezbollah, and shows that there is no blue card because that is impossible at this point. Finally, he reveals that the blue card on the table is magically the 5 of spades, but it was really always the 5 of spades.

bottom of the deck is red sided 5 spades followed by blue backed 5 spades. The way he "shuffles" keeps both cards on the bottom and allows him to flip two cards to show your original choice. Using that same shuffle technique he keeps the second 5 of spades on the bottom and forces your next pick to be the 5 of spades.

It’s a great trick, use it well my friend.
I remember seeing this for the first time back in 2009 - 2010 and trying this for hours and hours with a deck of cards. I waved around the deck and was saying "Hezblah" for hours and hours.

You’re welcome friend
I am having so much fun reading all the comments that echo my sentiments. Thanks for not deleting this. I first saw it way back in 2006. Got me into magic. Tha k you

Perfect. Much love I enjoy this truck everytime
1:04 you got the trick there. The 5 of spades is the blue card and it's kinda attached to any card you pick. Then he does it again and puts a RED 5 of spades at the bottom, he manages to make you pick that card and finishes the trick with the last move.

12 years ago id watch this video like every other day because I found it soothing, it was triggering my asmr and I didn’t know what that was at the time
Rode my bike to the grocery store after watching this video as a kid and bought two packs of playing cards so I could replicate this trick. How has it been so long since?
It’s insane to think what has changed since this video was posted.
Love this trick. Awesome.
The deck is stacked at the beginning. This was the first card trick i taught myself and it was the one that made me the magician i am today

There's plenty of tricks you can look up online that use the double lift and learning just that one move will mean you can do this, along with 30 or 40 other really simple tricks with just a week of practicing your performance.

yea its a placed blue card at bottom with a free choice then you set the fre choice above the blud with a cut then control to top double lift. the hindu force and bam... still has really nice affect on spectator there all like "WTF?" lol love it

A performer could EASILY slip up with this one if they've only just started out with card magic/tricks.. I WOULD suggest learning more BASIC card tricks before moving onto THIS one.. Practice a few sleight of lands, then this trick should be NOOO PROBLEMO to perform.. Then, once your confident with THESE kinda tricks, move on to the REALLY advanced tricks..
I started in Magic 10 years ago, and since then i have seen so many things, i have do so many passes double lifts and many other things on stage. And man let me tell you something this trick has being in my arsenal since the very begining i performed it every single time...it Is truly magical.

The bottom 2 cards are 5 of spades One blue one red He flips the blue card with your card then puts the blue one down Sense he shuffled from the top the bottom card is the same when no blue 5 of spades comes up he flips over the one blue card turning out to be a blue ace of spades Hope it's not confusing :)

Stuff like this just makes me mad

Like everyone else… the worlds greatest card trick was one of the first I was determined to master when I was into magic. “Hezbolah” will always be remembered, even 12 years later
A very nice alternative to the brainwave deck. The blue five was truly inspired, and definitely made the double lift an improvement over the gimmick rather than an inconvenient alternative to it... Thanks!

Dude, this trick is so simple yet perfect. People who don't know about magic tricks will be freaked out, but in reality it's so simple it took me 5 minutes to figure out since i'm kinda new to the magic trick thing. I love it.

HE LIFTED TWO CARDS TO SHOW THE 8 of diamonds! he never showed the front and back of the 8 of diamonds and he worked to pull the blue card off the deck! I have resolved his sorcery! He has no power anymore!
That double lift though -.- I've done this a thousand times and I must admit, you portray this trick very well!!!
Took me 4 watches to figure it out, but it has very striking ending. Very great! Thumbs up 👍
Nice.. Perfect!!
Wow! Amazing!
Great effect, thanks for posting. Keep up the good work bro.
bottom of the deck is red sided 5 spades followed by blue backed 5 spades. The way he "shuffles" keeps both cards on the bottom and allows him to flip two cards to show your original choice. Using that same shuffle technique he keeps the second 5 of spades on the bottom and forces your next pick to be the 5 of spades.
Very cool trick
