I think I like this channel more than the large channel (although I love that one as well!) because it reminds me of the older Ammo videos when it was just Larry, a car and a camera out in the field and he was trying to teach us. Thanks Larry!

Man this is the AMMO NYC that got me hooked on detailing. Reminds me of the Porsche you did some wet sanding on. It was a guards red Targa if I remember right? But these video are the videos I LOVE! Also the fact that you made this look so easy is a sign of a master at work. That little section would've taken me probably an hour of work. Absolutely fantastic work as always Larry. I've been buying all of your products ever since you came out with your wheel cleaning kit and I'll be your first customer for your new polish (I still have a bottle of leveling fluid laying around) Thanks for all you do for the detailing community and sharing your absolute wealth of knowledge for us all to benefit from

Greetings from the U.K. I’ve never been brave enough to wet sand with a power sander, but that was super quick and effective. I do agree that wet sanding can be safer than hitting poor paint with a buffer, you can take your time, panel stays cool, you can check progress etc. Top job!

Wow, this is topical since I think I need to wet sand a part of my new car. The roof rack installed by the port left deep marring that I haven't been able to get out with the Rupes Bigfoot Nano, blue foam pads, and Rupes blue compound. Every time I compound and polish, the deepest marks are still there.

I’m so so scared to get wet sanding my car as I just don’t want a horror story and it end up worse of. However this just simply looks very do able. I’ve achieved some very very nice results on a good few cars and feel like it’s time to go from 80% defect removal to show ready. Appreciate the video

I have a question about wet sanding. To what degree wet sanding can make the clear coat as flat as possible, because on the hood of my car I had an area which looks kinda wavy, it's not an orange peel, it's more like a pond, but it's at certain angle, if you are straight ahead the hood it looks flawless, but from the sides you clearly can see that. Thank you!

You mentioned wet sanding keeps the temperature down and is not as harsh because there is limited heat. is there a wet polishing to keep the temperatures down and still polish?

Great video Larry. This removed a lot of the intimidation factor of "wet sanding" for me and others I'm sure. Can someone tell me why when he was using the sandpaper the hand sander it didn't seem to be rotating that fast. What am I missing? Was it an optical illusion? Thanks.

I have a question I don’t have a buffer and I’m not painting my car. I’m painting my bicycle. I’m really big in the cycling and I wanted to change the color so I did and I’ve also use clearcoat with pearl , now do I have to go and purchase a buffer or can I just use a regular sponge or rag or microfiber?

German Company Birchmeier has one, it's called "Birchmeier Foxy 360". It doesn't have a pivoting head but the pick up tube on the inside is weighted and very flexible so it follows gravity and always gets fluid. Maybe thats an option for you :)
